You can go to sleep to the sound of the Mediterranean sea in our 120 sqm., 3-Bed, 2-Bath apartment with a 10 sqm terrace that less than 100m from the beach. We have an extensive sea view, full aircon, a communal pool, a padel tennis court, underground parking in a quiet traditional Spanish coastal town only 35 minutes from Malaga and it's International Airport.
We like Guest Points, but we do ask for a minimum of a 5-night stay.
We have a 38 sqm. open plan kitchen, dinning and living room which opens out onto a 10 sqm. terrace that looks over the Mediterranean Sea. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a dish washer. There is also air conditioning and a laundry with a washing machine. Our local communities of Caleta de Velez and Alagarrobo Costa are traditionally Spanish and include a marina, a fishing port as well as safe beaches and swimming.
The large master bedroom has an en-suite shower room, built in wardrobe, a king size bed and opens out onto the terrace with sea views. There is also a second bedroom with a double bed, bookshelves and a Juliet Balcony and a third bedroom with twin single beds a desk and a Juliet Balcony. These two bedrooms also have a family bathroom with a full size bath, shower, WC and bidet.
We have high speed fiber optic Internet/WIFI and there is a dedicated underground parking space. We would also consider including a reciprocal car swap if that was practical.
There are numerous cafes, restaurants and bars within easy walking distance of the apartment and there are two large supermarkets a couple of hundred meters away. We are handy for public transport and only 35 minutes drive from Malaga and its International airport. All the main cities and sights of Andalucia are within easy driving distance so you can visit Granada, Malaga, Cordoba, Cadiz, Jerez and Seville as well as Portugal and Morocco all within a few hours drive.
This part of the costa del Sol East of Malaga is less developed than many parts of the coastal Costa del Sol and has the mildest climate in Southern Europe with long warm summers and mild winters.

Algarrobo/Caleta de Velez is our home, and we choose to live here because, in our opinion, it provides the right balance of direct access to the beach and convenience for shops and amenities and major tourist attractions . The Autovia A7 (the motorway/freeway) that can take you to the rest of Andalusia and Spain is on our doorstep and we enjoy the local, predominantly Spanish, community around us. And let’s not forget the great weather, it is the mildest climate in Western Europe – they grow thousands of hectares of mangoes and avocadoes in the area!

We are a part of the community of Caleta de Velez which is the fishing port and marina for Velez-Malaga and a large area of coast East of Malaga. This is an ‘old school’ community where locals put their chairs outside their houses on Calle Real on the seafront and watch the world go by. We have a major boat repair yard, a pleasure boat marina, and the largest commercial fishing port in Malaga Province and of course a quiet and sheltered beach.
The Caleta area is not as ‘polished’ as some of the larger brasher resorts further down the coast West of Malaga, and the tourist season is dominated by Spanish visitors from cities in the rest of Andalusia and Spain. There are very few hotels and little or no package holidaymakers as most visitors choose to rent apartments. There are plenty of café/bars and restaurants and a full range of shops, but Caleta remains predominantly a working village and a family resort.
We are close to all the major towns and cities in Andalucia and beyond:
Malaga is 35 minutes: Granada is 1hr 20 min: Cordoba is just over 2 hrs: Seville 2 hrs. 30 and Portugal is only 4 hrs away.
