Our home is a calm, sun-filled sanctuary nestled on the slopes of Table Mountain, with sweeping views over Cape Town — from Devil’s Peak behind us to Lion’s Head, the city skyline, and out across the bay. What makes it special is the combination of comfort, character, and location: it’s peaceful and green, yet just minutes from the heart of the city, the mountain trails, and the beaches.
We’ve lovingly renovated this house from top to bottom, creating spaces that feel both welcoming and stylish. The open-plan kitchen and dining area is the heart of the home — perfect for cooking, sharing meals, or enjoying a glass of wine by the fireplace on cooler evenings. The two downstairs bedrooms each have their own bathroom, and the airy upstairs lounge is ideal for relaxing with a book, watching TV, or just soaking up the views.
You’ll find everything you need for a comfortable stay — a fully equipped kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, an inverter to keep the lights on during power cuts, a barbecue, laundry facilities, and a lush little garden that’s great for al fresco dining or a quiet morning coffee.
Our neighborhood, Vredehoek, has a warm community feel and all the essentials within a 2-minute walk — a friendly café, a great local supermarket, a vibey bar, a deli, and even a cozy Italian restaurant.

From here, you're only 5 minutes by car (or Uber) from the city center — full of galleries, museums, markets, and live music — and just 10–15 minutes from Cape Town’s iconic beaches like Clifton and Camps Bay. The Table Mountain trailheads are practically on your doorstep, so if you love hiking or trail running, you’re in for a treat.
Cape Town is an incredibly diverse and vibrant city. You can spend your mornings on the mountain, your afternoons at the beach, and your evenings enjoying world-class food and wine. A short drive will take you to the historic Constantia Winelands or the colorful streets of Bo-Kaap, and within an hour, you can be sipping wine in Stellenbosch or exploring the charming town of Franschhoek.
