No detail has been overlooked at our family/pet friendly, spacious home on a half acre in the upscale Moonridge area of Big Bear, California. Sleeps 8 comfortably. All ages enjoy our house. With three floors, there's plenty of room to spread out.
We've thought of everything to make your stay comfortable, relaxing and fun! Soak in the jacuzzi, relax in our brand new private wood sauna, read in the hammock, enjoy a coffee or cocktail on the deck, play a game of pool or foosball or venture out to the lake or the slopes.
Everything in the house is new, including luxury mattresses, pillows and linens, and baby gear so you don’t have to pack it.
+3 bedrooms with 5 beds - new mattresses, pillows and luxury linens. All high-quality and impeccably clean. On the first floor, there's a bedroom with a queen size bed, and another with bunkbeds and a daybed. There's also a bathroom with a shower and a full size laundry room on the first floor. On the second floor, there is a large great room, kitchen, powder room and the master bedroom and bathroom (with a soaking tub and large shower). On the third floor, there is a game room that also has a daybed with a trundle.
+2.5 bathrooms, heated tiles, towel warmer, soaking tub with stunning views in master bath, 4 plush robes.
+Brand new central heat and air-conditioning.
+Great room with gas fireplace (don’t use firewood in the gas fireplace). We also have a wood burning stove off the kitchen, near the back patio, where you can burn real wood. You’re welcome to bring firewood for the wood burning stove.
+Large flat screen tvs with streaming services in living room, bedrooms with queen and king size beds and upstairs game room.
+Peloton, rowing machine, free weights and other workout gear in garage, plus a new wood sauna, for adult-use only upon request. This is located in the garage.

+Game room with pool table, dart board, flat screen tv, karaoke machine, 2 huge bean bag chairs and extra daybed with trundle (2 mattresses).

+Chef's kitchen with anything and everything you could want for cooking and entertaining; Viking refrigerator, water filter at sink, Brita water pitcher, stainless steel 6 burner stove/oven, juicer, Vitamix, margarita machine, freestanding popcorn maker, you name it, it's likely in our kitchen!
+Bar tools, wine, champagne and margarita glasses, electric wine opener.

+Coffee & tea bar with Keurig machine, Moccamaster coffee maker and French press. Large selection of coffees and teas for your enjoyment.
+We allow up to two dogs, provided they are well-behaved and supervised at all times. We have everything for our furry friends, including pet crate, toys, treats, poop bags, and blankets especially for them.
+New pack-n-play and other infant gear, toys, toddler sized table and four chairs, forest themed stuffed animals, art supplies, and books - located upstairs in the game room and the downstairs bedroom with the bunkbeds.

Our home is in a lovely neighborhood, surrounded by other large homes. It's quiet and private. We are nestled against the San Bernardino mountains and usually have lots of snow during winter months. Our views are spectacular!
We are a short drive from the ski resorts (around 2 miles), the zoo, Big Bear Lake (around 5 miles), the village (lots of shops and restaurants). There are lovely hiking trails and a nature preserve in walking distance to the house.
Big Bear is a great place to visit year round!

There is a $299 cleaning fee for home exchanges.
We are dog friendly! Dogs are an additional $100 per stay (2 dogs max). This is what our housekeepers charge to deep clean, manage the fur and other cleanups. We provide dog bowls, doggie bags, treats, a medium sized crate and dog bed. Dogs must be well-behaved and potty trained. If you leave the house, please take your dog(s) with you or crate them. Dogs cannot left unattended inside the house while you are gone. We have soft, waterproof dog blankets. Please place them on the couch, bed or any other furniture if you want your dog to join you. We prefer dogs to use the dog bed on the floor or the crate.
Dogs should not be left unattended outside (Big Bear in in the national forest with wildlife all around). Please be sure to clean up after your dog, both inside and outside. Please throw dog poop bags inside the trash cans out front.
Our home and driveway are located on a slope. There are about 20 stairs leading to the front door and two flights of stairs inside. Our guests must be able to climb stairs. PLEASE USE CAUTION AND HANDRAILS WHILE WALKING UP AND DOWN THE STAIRS AT ALL TIMES. Particularly when it's wet/raining/snowing, the stairs may be icy. Guests must refrain from any horseplay on or around the stairs. Owners are not responsible for any slips, falls or injuries while at our home.
Remember to carry tire chains or cables in your car during winter months. The Big Bear website has detailed information on tire chains and local weather conditions.
We reserve the right to terminate your stay without refund if you exceed the maximum occupancy of 8 guests and 2 cars (which is dictated by our short-term rental permit). Guest totals will be verified by external facing OUTDOOR cameras. We do not have any indoor cameras. Please notify your host, Kaye, of your guest/dog count in advance of your stay. If you bring a dog without advance notice or if you bring more than two dogs, the fee will be $100 per night, per dog. We will terminate your stay if you bring more than two dogs.
Big Bear strictly enforces occupancy and car limitations. Note that toddlers, and infants DO count as a person for purposes of our maximum occupancy of 8. Please do arrive with more than the maximum or you could be fined from the city and immediately evicted with no refund.
Our private jacuzzi is available 24 hours a day with quiet hours before 10 am and after 10 pm. Please respect our neighbors. Note that the jacuzzi is not fenced. Guests must follow the rules posted near the jacuzzi, including monitoring children at all times and showering before entering the jacuzzi. Please do not throw any trash around or behind the jacuzzi.
We have EXTERIOR security cameras only, which face away from the house. We do not have any interior cameras. We respect our guests’ privacy. Our cameras are primarily used for security when no one is at the house. We only use them to verify guest/car counts when we have guests.
