Vad du kommer att gilla med hemmet
Our home is a recently renovated Victorian Villa retaining many of its original features. It is very spacious and has high ceilings, original Victorian wooden floors and a beautiful stained glass window on the stairway.
It has a new luxurious modern kitchen ideal for those who enjoy cooking which leads onto an open plan dining area suitable for entertaining. The kitchen has sliding bifold doors leading to a small terrace and back garden with outside furniture and a BBQ area. The dining table comfortably seats 8 people.
We have three spacious reception rooms with original Victorian fire places and seating for 6-8 people in the main living room.
There are four double bedrooms each containing a double bed. We have a large, newly fitted, family bathroom with a bath, shower and WC (it is also home to the washer and dryer). The main bedroom has a modern ensuite with a shower and WC and there is an additional downstairs WC. We have off road parking for 2 cars. We are on a corner plot and have garden on three sides of the property.

We live near the centre of the seaside town of Worthing which has a pier, a promenade and pedestrianised shopping centre (which hosts a french style market every Wednesday), all within 10 mins walk. Our neighbourhood is residential with little road traffic. The train station is only 4 mins walk away with regular direct trains to London (1hr20), Gatwick airport (47mins) and Brighton (20mins). There are multiple places to eat out or have a drink, all within a short walking distance.
The beautiful chalk South Downs are located just north of the town (prehistoric Cissbury Ring is walkable) and there are many scenic coastal and woodland walks on the doorstep to suit all abilities. Arundel, with its famous castle, is only 8 miles away and Fishbourne Roman Palace, just 19 miles.

Ideal for families or a group of friends who love the outdoors, especially hiking. The nearby town of Arundel has a castle which is open to visitors and Chichester has a beautifully preserved Roman Villa. Great for exploring London or wider afield, including the southern part of the UK or short trips to France, Belgium or the Netherlands, via the Channel Tunnel.
Lots of sea based activities, including paddle boarding and kayaking are available locally. You can also buy freshly caught fish directly from the fishermen on the beach in the mornings. Brighton (a very vibrant and liberal City) hosts many activities and has the newly opened Sea Lanes 6 lane 50m outdoor pool on the beach front. The famous Brighton 'Lanes' and Pavilion can also be found in the town.
Worthing and Brighton also have several excellent cinemas and theatres with international stars often performing.
Offshore, Worthing has a large Windfarm generating renewable energy (tours are available from Brighton Marina) and if you're near the Pier at dusk, you may be lucky enough to see the murmurating Starlings.
Sussex is famous for its sparkling white wine and the nearby Nytimber vineyard produces wine that has beaten many of the French champagne houses to win sparking wine of the year in blind tastings. There is an excellent walk through the vineyard (with tastings, it’s worth it :).
