Vad du kommer att gilla med hemmet
Minimum 6 Nights. Our second home is a recently renovated bungalow less than a kilometer from the village of Glenbeigh, Co. Kerry, Ireland. situated on a small rural road on its own site with no houses bordering it.
Glenbeigh is situated on the Wild Atlantic Way and Ring of Kerry driving routes and the EuroVelo1 Cycle route. The Kerry Way walking route passes in front of the house.
Rossbeigh blue flag beach is 3KM away, Dooks golf Links is 6km away. The house is surrounded by mountains and has views of the sea, Inch Beach and the Dingle peninsula.
The house has a patio area to the front for morning sun and the rear of the house for afternoon and evening sun. There are chairs and tables on the front and rear patio areas and sun loungers on the rear patio. The rear patio is surrounded by a glass windbreaker and has views of the mountains and sea.
There are gardens front and back and parking for a couple of cars at the front of the house.
There is a gas barbeque available.
The house has a large modern open plan kitchen/living/dining area, with a small breakfast counter, dining table for 8, couches and armchairs and a TV.
The kitchen comes with a double oven, fridge freezer, induction hob, dishwasher, Microwave, Nespresso coffee maker and is well stocked with all kitchen equipment.
The main bedroom is en-suite with built-in wardrobes and stunning views of mountains and sea, the second bedroom has a double bed and a single sofa bed (which has an additional pull out mattress) and the third bedroom has a small double bed. Both rooms have mountain views. The main bathroom has an electric and a power shower. There is a utility room with a washing machine and a drying machine.

The friendly village of Glenbeigh https://glenbeigh.ie/ has 2 small family run hotels, both are popular for food, drink and entertainment, a local bar, Pizza restaurant/cafe/bakery, a well stocked local grocery and fuel station and a hairdressers. Other popular restaurants Carrig house and Jack Coast guard station are a short drive away.
We love the location for long walks, mountain hiking, long cycles and swimming in the sea.
Local activities include swimming, Hill walking, surfing, horse riding, cycling, golf, etc. The highest mountain in Ireland is Carrauntoohil which is about 30 min drive away. The town of Killorglin is 15 minutes drive away and has more restaurants, pubs and shops. Killarney and the world-famous Lakes of Killarney is 36 km away, Tralee is 40km and Kerry Airport is 36km. There are local buses from the village.
