Vad du kommer att gilla med hemmet
We are a senior couple interested in a home and car exchange with another couple. Our home is 20 miles from New York City.
It is a 1400 square foot private residence, in small neighborhood of about 300 homes. Our home has two bedrooms on the second floor. One has a Queen-size bed and the other has a single high riser/trundle bed that opens to two attached single beds. Full shower in both first and second floor bathrooms.
The open concept first floor has a full kitchen, formal dining room, full bath, and a formal living room that flows into a TV room.
The kitchen has french doors that open to a furnished deck with two tables and ample seating, so you can eat inside or outside, while enjoying our shaded yard, tall trees and privacy bushes in the back. You can lounge on the deck or in the yard.
The kitchen table seats four that overlook the deck and yard, so you can enjoy nature while eating. It has a large refrigerator/freezer, gas cooktop, electric oven, and a dishwasher.
The rest of the open-concept first floor has a formal dining room, a living room that seats five, a connected TV area with couch and coffee table, and a full bathroom with modern large shower.
Home is completely air conditioned or heated, depending upon the time of year you visit. Our yard has a large gas barbecue. Second floor has its own air conditioning system and controls. First floor has controls for the entire house and its own air conditioning system. Basement has full size washer and full size dryer.
We are a 3-5 minute walk from the local train that will take you to Manhattan and a 30 minute car ride to JFK airport Nearby are restaurants and plenty of shopping within walking distance. Within a short car ride are large shopping malls with top name stores and discount stores featuring anything you’d want to buy. You can spend a day in South Hampton, go to Broadway shows, or visit any number of parks and hike natural areas. (Bus transportation is not recommended. We take our car everywhere, but take the train to Manhattan. We drive everywhere else, including to the Bronx and Brooklyn.
We can travel whenever we want, so make us an offer and we’ll see if we can work something out.
