Our house is a Victorian terrace house located in a very quiet street (a cul de sac, actually) in a lively, multicultural neighbourhood in Cardiff, called Canton (no connection with China there, though there are a couple of good Chinese restaurants nearby). It is spread on two floors: 2 bedrooms and a study upstairs, living, sitting, sun room, extended kitchen and bathroom downstairs. We have a small garden on the back, where, weather permitting you can eat, read, sit outside.
We like to think we have everything we need in the house from kitchen appliances to books, from dvds and music systems to a decent tv set and plants. From African masks (I collect them) to objects from all over the world. Most of all, our house is peaceful, full of colour, (hi)stories and warmth. We have lovely neighbours who will be able to help in case of necessity and we live very close to everything worth seeing and worth going to in Cardiff.
We love our house and we hope you will love it as well.

We live in Canton, a multicultural area, one minute-away from Chapter Arts Centre, a cinema/theatre/restaurant/bar/arts space, 10 minutes’ walk from Bute Park, 15 mins walk from the Principality Stadium, and 20 minutes’ walk from the city centre and shopping area. Canton is a multicultural area and is full of restaurants offering cuisines from all over the world, bars and traditional pubs, supermarkets, greengrocers and specialised shops, and all sorts of other services (bank, post-office, petrol station, chemist). It is a safe area, and our house is located in a cul-de-sac, so no through traffic to bother you. There is a bus stop at the end of our street (100 meters away), parking available with a parking permit, though there are some free spaces on the street as well. All amenities are walking distance from our doorstep though, if you decide to leave the car parked in front of the house! A friendly and alert neighbourhood is always handy for any help you might need.

Our house is a shoeless house, and a smoke-free one. Please refrain from smoking anywhere in the house and leave you shoes at the entrance.
