No smoking or pets allowed in the house!
Our house is a real family home in a quiet neighbourhood in IJmuiden. The house has everything you need when you are travelling with kids. There is a bed for a baby and a toddler at the same floor as the parent bedroom. On the attic there is a single bed. There are many toys for the kids to play with.
The cosy living has a nice sofa where you can read a book or watch tv with the whole family.
In the dining area there is a large table where you can have nice dinners and here is a second sofa. The kitchen is well equiped to prepare your dinner.
Furthermore, there is an additional table on the attic with a computer screen and keyboard for your home-office.

Our house is situated in a quiet neighborhood in IJmuiden, 100 meters away from the first dunes. Within 20 minutes by foot, or 5 minutes by bike, you are standing on the beach. IJmuiden is known for its very wide sandy beach. In summertime you can have a nice swim in the sea or in winter time it is the perfect place for a nice walk. Also the bunkers from the Atlantic wall are at walking distance from our place. Furthermore, the national park Zuid Kennemerland is at walking distance from our place. The national park is a perfect place for nice hikes and cycling tours. In the park there are wild horses and cows and also many deer. The deer also frequently visit our garden :)
Nice places to visit in the neighborhood are:
-Amsterdam, 30 minutes by car
- Zaanse Schans, 30 minutes by car
- Alkmaar, 30 minutes by car
-Haarlem, 20 minutes by car
-Zeesluis IJmuiden, the biggest sluys in the world, 15 minutes by bike
There is a bus-stop 5 walking minutes away with direct bus connections to Haarlem (30 minutes) and Amsterdam Sloterdijk (40 minutes).
