Vad du kommer att gilla med hemmet
Don't hesitate to come to us in GP exchange: we put 198 on the site. Anything is possible, we will discuss the number of points according to your possibilities, the number of guests, the season and the length of stay... It can even be 0 points: the goal for us is not to accumulate points but to exchange, whether our house is occupied, our plants watered in summer. We favor conviviality, human warmth and hospitality.
For the moment it's 6 people maximum but read the description to tell the truth we have 13 real beds. 8/9 is a maximum to avoid taking out extensions at the tables: so you can ask us for more than 6 people but we will slightly increase the number of points. Do not hesitate if we can receive you in hospitality, but it will be 5 people maximum.
Our house is located in a medium-sized city. We are in the city but in a very green area close to the Vienne which is a very pleasant river.
For reciprocal exchanges: if the house is available, it is because in principle we already have an exchange scheduled for these dates or another trip, so it will be a non-simultaneous reciprocal exchange.
Our ground floor is perfectly suited to people with reduced mobility or prone to allergies; There are no carpets, no cats, it's on the ground floor, but the width of the doors does not allow a wheelchair to pass.
Our environment is very quiet, because even though we are not far from the center, our house is far from the main street, located at the end of a 50m driveway: the house is surrounded by gardens no street on the edge of the land which is landlocked. Our garden is not big but very nice and flowery: we have a small vegetable garden.
We have a large aquarium in the living room and 3 hens in the garden. You will have fresh eggs and our pullets are very autonomous.
You'll hear birds, frogs and our chickens (sometimes), no roosters in the neighborhood!
To the east: a terrace
To the west: a 33m² veranda.
On the ground floor: A scullery and the kitchen open to the living room, an office, a double bedroom (160 cm bed), bathroom and toilet.
First floor: 3 bedrooms, one with sink, bathroom, separate toilet and an office with double extra bed. In reality we have many more beds, 15 beds in reality.
Bedroom 2: 1 double bed, 1 single bed
Bedroom 3: 3 single beds
Bedroom 4: 1 double bed and 3 single beds
Bedroom 5: actually a desk with a BZ, very comfortable extra double bed
No guestpoint stays of less than 5 days.

We live in a quiet area and our house is set back 50 meters from the street on a plot of land enclosed by other gardens, it is really the countryside.
Our neighborhood is simple and authentic, our city is small but there is everything in terms of shops, cultural offers (theaters, cinemas), sports facilities (aquatic center, bike paths, skate park, mountain bike) and medical facilities.
The Vienne is very close and allows canoeing, paddle activities etc... You can reach the riverside in less than 100m with an easy launch and a very bucolic setting.
A national forest at 2kms which allows beautiful walks in all seasons, a cycle path which starts at 1.5km and which allows you to discover the countryside for more than 40 kms.
Our neighborhood is simple and authentic, our city is small but there is everything in terms of shops, cultural offers (theaters, cinemas), sports facilities (aquatic center, bike paths, skate park, mountain bike) and medical facilities.
The Vienne is very close and allows canoeing, paddle activities etc... You can reach the riverside in less than 100m with an easy launch and a very bucolic setting.

In general, we do not wish to receive more than 6 people and accept reception for a period of less than 7 days... with some exceptions. Our housekeeper who usually comes 2 times 3 hours a week could come at your expense during your stay at her usual hours and days, she can also if she is available to do the cleaning after your stay. Ask us for the organization.
In winter our house is heated to 19 degrees: it is underfloor heating, low temperature, very comfortable.
The bathrooms are also heated by electric radiators and towel warmers programmed at 24 degrees during certain time slots. The rooms are heated to 17 degrees.
We ask our guests not to touch any of these settings.
In summer, the temperature displayed for air conditioning should not be lower than 24 degrees: except in heat waves, if you close shutters, shading curtains, windows and doors, you only need air conditioning on the rare days of summer when the temperature is serious at 35 degrees.
We live in a small town of 40,000 inhabitants, located between Paris and Bordeaux, close to Poitiers and Tours. It is easy to reach us by car (A10 motorway), train (Paris Bordeaux line) and plane (Poitiers, Tours and Nantes airports): there are buses in Châtellerault, so you can come without a car and enjoy a large number of visits by public transport and bicycle.
Our environment has a wide variety of attractions. We are very close to the Loire Valley (less than an hour) with the magnificent castles: Loches, Chinon, Azay le Rideau, Amboise, but also the typical villages, the old houses, the Vienne valley, the Creuse, the Beauval zoo. It is a good place to discover Poitou and Touraine.
