I live in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and I own an apartment in Spain. I am not interested in an exchange in Canada (except a lakeside in Quebec) nor in the United States, but I am interested in almost any other destination around the world.
My condominium is located in Puerto de La Duquesa on the Costa del Sol, one hour from Malaga and 30 minutes from Gibraltar, it is part of a typical Andalusian style complex with a maximum height of 2 floors. It has a large kitchen and a 12m² terrace, it has 2 bedrooms with queen-size beds, but no living room unless you don't use the Murphy bed. It is extremely well located, street parking is easy near the apartment. You can also walk everywhere and no need to rent a car.
It is less than 100m. from the beach, 9 min. walk from a golf course, 5 min. about 40 bars and restaurants, a small supermarket, the marina (fishing excursions), shops (pharmacy, car rental, bike and kayak rental, hairdresser, laundry, gym and other shops), 16 minutes walk from a large supermarket. Despite everything, it is mostly in a quiet and quiet area.

At the marina there are many possibilities for excursions especially fishing and sailing. You will find around sixty shops there, including around forty bars and restaurants. Less than twenty minutes on foot in the same direction on the "paseo maritimo", you will arrive at San Luis de Sabillinas, the commercial center of the sector.
From the house it is very pleasant to walk along the beach on the “paseo maritimo”, especially towards Gibraltar for about 6 km. It is also possible to do the same on the Estepona side.
If you like to shop, on Sunday morning there are many stalls selling all kinds of products at Estepona Marina. But, if you are really into shopping, during your excursion to Nerja, do not miss a visit to the “Balcony of Europe”, but above all afterwards, to stroll through the magnificent adjacent shopping area. You will be totally disoriented by the environment, but also by the diversity of products, not to mention that the prices are extremely affordable, especially for leather.
Located 4 minutes walk from the apartment, you can visit a small archaeological site dating from Roman times for free. A minute further is the Castillo de La Duquesa. If you are lucky, you will come across a day when there are fencing competitions.
20 minutes by car, you will find in Estepona the “Escuela de arte ecuestre de la Costa del Sol” You will even have the possibility of taking private riding lessons. You will probably see the most beautiful horses you have ever seen in your life, unless you went to see the show at the 'Escuela Real de Arte Ecuestre' in Jerez less than 90 minutes from the apartment.
If you go to Jerez, there are also several “bodegas” to visit including that of Tio Pepe.

Less than 2 hours away, I recommend in order: Ronda, Frigiliana (the most beautiful white village in Spain) and Nerja (the cave and the shopping), Gibraltar (the monkeys), Jerez de la Frontera (show equestrian and bodegas)
