Our house is located in Copenhagen, approximately 6km from the city center, on the edge of a nature and wildlife reserve (Utterslev Mose), with excellent opportunities for a walk, jog or bike ride around the lakes. There is public transportation a short walk from the house or you can use one of our bikes, as most Danes would do.
The house is from 1934 and was renovated in 2007 & 2014. It has two floors and is 210sqm in total. On the top floor there is a large kitchen, two en-suite living rooms, a newly renovated bathroom and 3 bedrooms, two of which are the children rooms, with queen size matresses. On the lower floor there is a washing room, a bathroom and an additional guest bedroom/office with a king size bed. There is direct access to the quiet garden from the kitchen and livingroom. The garden is kids friendly, with swings and a trampoline, and the grounds used to be part of a fruit plantation before the house was built.

Copenhagen is the centre of the most dynamic region in Europe, the Øresund Region. The city is one of Europe's oldest capitals with a royal touch - the monarchy in Denmark is the oldest in the world!
“There's something modern in the state of Denmark”, a paraphrase on the well-known Shakespearian quote from Hamlet, somehow encapsulates the spirit of the youthful dynamism present in Copenhagen. Discover it, mirrored in the walls of Black Diamond, but pay also attention to all those historical architectural pearls.
Visit Louisiana and the Glyptotek - both on the top among art museums in Europe; take a walk towards the Gefion Fountain, Copenhagen's own Fontana di Trevi, and see how the Little Mermaid is doing...! Tivoli, the amusement park with class and charm, right in the middle of the city, is a "must", too.
Have a Carlsberg beer (definitely not the best beer in the world, but you have to try one obviously) in one of many beer cafés by the canal in Nyhavn, or visit the one of the many microbreweries, such as Mikkeller, which may be the best in the world?
Take a short ride and check how other Scandinavians are doing: With the Öresund Bridge, the motorway and railway link, it takes only 30 minutes by train from Copenhagen City Centre to the centre of Malmö, Sweden. Naturally, you must seize such a great opportunity to see more of Scandinavia!
