200km of singletrack bike trails of Singletrack Glacensis for bike trip lovers.
Around Lądek-Zdrój – drive or walk to the Lądek Pass and take one hour walk to the Blueberry Mountain with a beautiful observation tower, wonderful views. This was the meeting point of Polish and Czech opposition against communism in 1980s. Take a walk around Ladek-Zdroj thermal baths area and market place area, enjoy coffee and delicious cakes by Viennese recipes in a cafe Albrechtshalle and finally take bubble baths in therapeutic waters of pools and marble bath tubs like once kings and tsars of this world did here, massages, mud wraps and more.
Around Javornik (Czech Republic) a trip to Czech Republic with a tour of the beautifully preserved Jansky Vrch castle with 4 visiting tours to choose from. Going down from the castle stop at Taverna Restaurant for typical local Czech cuisine: famous Budweiser beer from Czech town Budejovic, glass of delicious Moravian wine, goulash with Czech dumplings and more. Both places accept Polish and Czech currencies and credit cards. You need a passport or other ID with a picture to cross the border here.
Mount Śnieżnik Landscape Park – all day trekking trip - climb a scenic route to Śnieżnik at 1425m: walk all the way up from village Sienna or take a lift to Czarna Góra and walk the rest of the way. Walking down stop for locally famous blueberry cake in the 140 years old shelter Schronisko Na Śnieżniku. Back in Sienna step into our wooden log Restaurant 'Puchaczówka' for dinner or snack.
Kletno Bear Cave and Old Lime Kiln Stone House Leave your can in Kletno parking and walk for 30 minutes to Kletno Bear Cave. It is the biggest cave in Poland with delightful dripstones, animal bones and illuminations, tour takes 45 minutes. Going back stop in Stara Morava for some local arts. Old Lime Stone House offers tours of art gallery, Japanese garden, Foucault pendulum, print and paper making workshops, and more. Just ring the bell at the gate. Close by there is a small Zip Line Park and a fish and chips pond bar – you can catch the trouts yourself, too.
A little gem town of Międzygórze - (meaning: inbetween the mountains) with picturesque views and elegant villas is worth a stroll. Stop at 'Wilczki' waterfall just at the entrance to the town. Drive up or climb a trail to mount Igliczna (needle) with a sanctuary of 'Mary of the Snow' with breathtaking views. It is special to Poles as it was visited 3 times by pope John Paul II. Follow red or yellow dwarf trail to The Fairy Tale Garden - unusual outdoor museum with a collection of wooden sculptures depicting fairy-tale characters and places. Nearly century-old collection is situated at an altitude of 780 m above sea level and occupies almost a quarter of a hectare.
Kłodzko – sleepy town with interesting old quarter, huge fortress and 40 kilometers of underground network of tunnels. Start with the fortress (German: Festung Glatz) a unique fortification complex that once was one of the biggest strongholds in Prussian Silesia, visit of fortress with the underground takes 2,5 hours, beautiful views of the town. Take a walk through the old quarter, stop for dinner at a communist style bar/restaurant Kryształowa (food is cheap and fine), eat outside for the view and do not miss the best traditionally made ice-cream at Wojska Polskiego 6 – best ever. Walk flowery paths of Minieuroland with miniatures of local and world famous buildings, playground.
Złoty Stok with Gold Mine, Medieval Technology park and Zip Line Park – all in one spot along Złota Street. Take an underground tour of the mine, rinse out gold, and make your own coins. Check out Medieval Technlogy Park presenting ways of making things way back in the past allowing kids to see and feel the everyday struggle in pre-tablet days. Try your nerves and muscles at Zip Line Park 'Skalisko' with highest and longest zip lines in Europe (scary!). Restaurant with simple food on the premises.
Dolni Morava (Czech Republic) – Mammoth wood and water park will let kids and adults discover physics and hydrodynamic laws in practice. Take a chair lift to the Sky Walk in the clouds and enjoy breathtaking views of the area. Adrenaline park, forest adventure park, bobsled run, disc golf park and single track trails for bikers and more. The whole day of fun guaranteed!
Bardo Rafting - rafting adventure on Nysa Klodzka river starting and ending in an old pilgrimage 'town of miracles'.

Informação adicional
We believe in the spirit of HE and we don’t charge cleaning fee but we ask you to leave our place as clean as it was when you arrive. Often, new guests arrive right after one exchange and we want everyone to end up in a clean and tidy place :)
If you are unable to clean the apartment after your stay, we ask you to leave PLN 250 (60€) to contribute to the cleaning service.
But because it’s our secondary apartment and we don’t live in the area we would like to ask you to contribute PLN 45 (11€)/per person to laundry service. After your stay our friend will come to manage used towels and sheets in the outside laundry. Thank you for your understanding!
