Unfortunately this home is not well suited to winter habitation at the moment. This recently renovated spacious 3 bedroom stone house, was a former village bakery, & later the residence of the Chateau Guardian.
In the grounds of the Chateau de Seailles, nestled in it's 6 hectares of park, woodland & garden. Visitors to this lovely holiday rental, have access to beautiful strolling paths, a pond and a swimming pool, as well as private courtyard with bbq & outdoor eating area.
The pool, is a 3 minute walk from the Gite, ensuring that the joyful noise of the pool does not disturb guests and residence.
In the grounds of the Chateau de Seailles, nestled in it's 6 hectares of park, woodland & garden. Visitors to this lovely holiday rental, have access to beautiful strolling paths, a pond and a swimming pool, as well as private courtyard with bbq & outdoor eating area.

A rural idyl, surrounded by vineyards, flower meadows and woodlands.
The grounds are big enough that we are our own neighbourhood. There is very little traffic around here, unless you pick a local festival week:
Tour de france, or
Marciac jazz festival
Vic Fezansac Salsa festival etc.
There are however an abundance of local villages and towns, with farmers markets, restaurants, recreational swimming lakes, zip lines, museums and more.
- Buzzy restaurants: Lots of very French local restaurants, in the surrounding villages. We have tried them all, and can give you our recomendations.
- Cool bars: No urban cocktail lounges here, but we do have a fun local English Pub.
- Bit of culture: Visit the birthplace of d'Artagnan, at Lupiac 15 mins from us. Terme Armagnac, the frontier of the British French 100 year war, 20 mins away,Or just explore the grounds of the Chateau itself with its Gallow Roman pond, Visigothic walls, 11th century fortifications and tower, 13th Century Chapel, 16th Century bakery etc.
- Walks in the park: The 6 hectares of park and woodland surrounding the chateau and its Gite, are mostly open for your rambling pleasure. Explore one of the two lakes, take a rest from the sun in the cool leafy splendour of our old growth woodland.
- Spot of exercise: There are lots of green routes, vinyards, woods, and ancient roads to explore, or if you prefer cycling, you are welcome to borrow some of our bikes, or drive a short distance to the Velo Rail. We also have a rather large pool.
- Day tripping: Consider day trips to any of a couple dozen medieval villages, or try the Squeely wonders of the local zip line park and lake. The Atlantic beaches are 2 hours west, and the Pyranees mountains are 1.5 hours south. Or visit Toulouse (1.5 hours), or the grand wonders of Bordeaux. (2hrs).
