LOOKING FOR NYC IN DECEMBER. Welcome to our bright and comfortable Mediterranean country house. It is 4 km from Denia town and 3km. to the beach. It has 120m2 all on one floor, nestled in a 1000m2 garden. We have three bedrooms. Two of them are large and spacious and my daughter´s room is smaller with a sloped ceiling. Master bedroom has a king sized bed, my son´s has a single bed and a queen sized sofa bed and my daughter´s room has a single bed. There are two complete bathrooms, one with shower, the other with a bathtub. Our kitchen is spacious and practical to use and is fully equipped (fridge-freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher), small appliances and everything you need in a kitchen. In our spacious living room you can enjoy music with our vinyl and cd collection, read, or watch a film on Netflix, Disney+, Prime or Filmin (a really good classic film platform). From the living room there is access to the porch with a large table that we use for everything, from eating to crafts, playing board games,..In the garden there is a large fig tree, and other fruit trees, plants and flowers.
My children are 16 and 13 years old and in their rooms you can find toys, an xbox , karaoke, board games, dolls, lots of legos, stuffed animals a piano...
Our cat Dorami lives with us. She is a free spirit that roams around inside and out of the house and sleeps wherever she wants. She doesn't like visitors very much so you may not see much of her, espcially if you bring your pet with you. No problem if you prefer her to not enter the house while you are here (due to alergies, for example), but please leave her food and fresh water every day.
The house is equipped with mosquito nets on all doors and windows, air conditioning in all rooms and radiators for heating.
You can smoke outside the house (porch and garden) but inside is a smoke free space.

O que vai adorar na vizinhança
We live surrounded by orange groves, next to a forrest. You will wake with the sound of the birds chirping and you can easily spot the squirrels go up and down the trees. There are many paths around with barely any traffic, perfect for taking a walk. Very near you can visit the beautiful old Olive Tree that is more than a 1.000 years old, as well as the Tower that gives it´s name to this area (Torrecarrals).
The nearest beach is "Els Molins" 3 km. away, easily reached by bike or on foot. Also, there is a "green path" that takes you safely to Denia walking or cycling.
Denia is a very charming town, it has innumerable fine sandy beaches and also the rocky Las Rotas beach, which is very special and beautiful. (I reccomend a lovely paella or arroz a banda in any of the family run restaurants of Las Rotas, right next to the sea). If you prefer mountain, you can hike the Montgó mountain.
Do not forget to visit the castle of Denia, the port with its fish market, stroll along Calle Campos or visit the picturesque fishing district of Baix la Mar. There are small boats in the port that offer excursions of a few hours along the coast, highly recommended and Also from the port of Denia you can take the ferry to Ibiza and Formentera (there are day trips or weekend trips). Valencia and its City of Arts and Science is 100 km away, Alicante capital is also 100 km away.
Denia has the title of "gastronomical city". Perfect for foodies, there are dozens of restaurants and tapas bars. This area of Spain (Valencia) is the home of the rice dishes (paella being the most famous), but also, arroz a banda, arroz al horno... also Denia´s seafood is very celebrated.
