How about spending time in sunny Miami? Come enjoy the sunshine, beaches, outdoor activities and multicultural spots the city has to offer.
Our primary residence has the original mid century wood floors and a very private backyard. Enjoy listening to the sounds of nature while sitting under our mango tree (if you come during the summer months you can even have some)
We value experiences and live simply, hence our home’s minimalist decor; everything in it has a purpose with emphasis on light and space.
Our kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, fridge, toaster, dishwasher, microwave oven, coffee maker and blender. You can store your favorite wine in our wine fridge. Enjoy our bright family room and watch TV via Youtube TV or log in to your preferred streaming channel. Our backyard has mango and avocado trees which you can (hopefully) enjoy during the summer months.
We offer three bedrooms: the master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed and bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed and desk. The 3rd bedroom has a single bed. If you work from home, another desk is available in the living room.
The neighborhood is quiet and to respect our neighbors and our home no parties, loud noise, or smoking are allowed. You are welcome to use our beach gear: towels, umbrella, chairs, cooler. There is a large fenced backyard for total privacy. Enjoy our outdoor patio with table and chairs where you will relax surrounded by nature. You can watch and listen to parrots, cardinals, sparrows, woodpeckers and many other birds sing all year round.
If your desired dates do not coincide completely with our availability dates and not otherwise indicated on our calendar; perhaps you can stay part of your trip in our home and the rest in another home, let's chat!

Our house is in Schenley Park, located 4 blocks from Coral Gables, an upscale community with beautiful Mediterranean style and historic houses. We are close to the University of Miami, the famous Biltmore Hotel and about 15m from the airport.
Ours is a quiet, family oriented neighborhood - ideal for walking or bike riding (you are welcome to use our 2 bikes during your stay). There are several grocery stores near by along with stores in neighborhood strip malls.
Miami is a foodie city and within a 15 minute drive from our house you can enjoy restaurants offering at least 15 different cuisines. We share some of our favorites in our home guide!
Our house is the perfect home base to explore everything that South Florida has to offer - close to major roads connecting you to places of interest like Miami Beach, the Everglades, the Port of Miami, Key Biscayne, Key West, Museums, Parks, Theatres, Wynwood arts district and more.
Our home guide includes recommendations for our favorite places and links to sightseeing/entertainment. Feel free to ask for any tips to make your trip more enjoyable.
