Our house is comfortable, cheerful, and full of light.
We love to have guests stay in our place and we welcome you with open hearts.
Ours is the first floor apartment of a gracious, mid 20th century two family home, It combines the best of the old and the new: family hairloom furniture, fixtures and architectural details as well as hard wood floors throughout.
There is an ample kitchen, an elegant dining room and a cozy, light-filled living room. There are four bedrooms, a master bedroom with a king bed, one with a full bed and two more with two double beds each.
This is a beautiful, light drenched, warm and comfortable home. There is also an outdoor patio and garden for your use.

The location is in Newtonville, a 10-minute walk to the commuter rail and to express buses that take you comfortably to downtown Boston, Cambridge and Somerville. The MTA subway station of Newton Center is 20-min away by foot. Newton is also full of Lime bikes that can be easily rented to ride around. Boston and Cambridge are rich with historic sites, museums, ethnic restaurants, boutique shops, bookstores, cafes and nightlife. Cambridge in particular is one of the most diverse and vibrant cities in the world. Not to mention home of Harvard University. Boston teems with the eclectic energy of its varied population: scholars, entrepreneurs, high techies, artists, athletes, comedians, street performers, creators and oddballs of every sort! The beautiful Charles River invites you to picnic, and walk along its tree-lined banks. You will find many parks and bicycle paths throughout the city (and several public bicycle rental stations.) The beautiful beaches of Cape Cod and mountains of New Hampshire are only 90 minutes away by car.

CHECK-IN:
Traci our housekeeper will welcome you when you arrive, give you the keys and show you around.
HOUSE DETAILS:
We live in a two-unit up-and-down condominium.
Our unit is number 46 and it consists of floors 2 and 3.
Unit 48 belongs to our downstairs neighbors.
SHARED AREAS USE:
The entry hallway, the front lawn, the back yard, the garage, and the basement are shared with our neighboors.
As a result, you should avoid using ANY of the shared areas except the front lawn and our parking spot (Traci will show you which one you can use).
Specifically, YOU CANNOT USE the backyard as the neighbors do not allow it. Also, please avoid spending time on the front lawn and peeking into the ground floor windows, as the neighbors are skittish about it.
APARTMENT USE:
Traci will show you around and let you know which rooms you can use.
RECYCLING:
Traci will give you the recycling instructions.
LAUNDRY:
In case you need laundry Traci can do the laundry for you once during your stay.
CLEANING:
Please leave the house as clean as you found it.
We also offer a cleaning service for 220 USD in case you do not want to deal with the cleaning.
Strip the beds and Traci will do the laundry and re-make the beds.
