Our house is a comfortable, light-filled family home with a large eat-in kitchen and family room area that really is the hub of the home. The kitchen's french doors open to a large deck complete with a grill, seating areas, herb garden, an outdoor shower and a built-in tree for shade! Central AC keeps the whole place cool on the hot days while the family room has a gas firelplace to keep the nights feeling cozy. We have three separate areas on the first floor for relaxing and watching television. One room is exclusively for the kids with video games, board games, a computer, arts and crafts table, countless supplies and even has its own bathroom. The other has a large comfortable sofa and ottoman and a baby grand for anyone inclined to play. Our home has two bedrooms with queen beds and two with twin sized beds on the second floor in addition to another queen sized guest room on the lower level. Three and a half bathrooms and a dining room that comfortably seats eight round out the home! It is fully equipped with bicycles, bocci, badminton, an outdoor playset, cable, wi-fi and a wine fridge - everything needed for a great family vacation!

Our greater neighborhood is an island that consists of 3 cities and towns, including the City of Newport. We are 30 minutes from Providence, 1 hour from Cape Cod and 50 miles from Boston. In more immediate terms, our house is nestled in a peaceful neighborhood surrounded by a land conservation and vineyard. It is a five minute walk to the winery that includes a thriving restaurant and a busy farmer's market every Saturday. Attached to the winery is Aquidneck Island's finest bakery and deli, Fatulli's. Their soups and cookies are a household favorite! Just through the gap in the stone wall that lines our backyard is the Aquidneck Greenway, seven miles of marked scenic hiking trails, beautiful at any time of year! A quiet oasis only five miles away from the bustling and beautiful downtown harbor of Newport.
