The HomeExchange community is supportive, united, and strong. We come together and offer assistance to members in need, and we stand up for what we believe in.
In difficult times, we all become more aware of the strength and importance of a united community. In response to the first lockdown in the first half of 2020, we set up an initiative allowing the HomeExchange community to offer free accommodation to essential workers in need. In total, about a hundred homes in France and more than 300 in the world have been made available to essential workers. Ultimately, we extended this initiative, launching a group entitled "Solidarity" that is also open to any other natural disasters: fires, earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, etc. Today, HomeExchange regularly receives messages from members looking to help people in need by offering their home.

Given the historic importance of the movement to fight systematic racism, we have decided to match employee contributions to 3 organizations : Campaign Zero (a comprehensive platform of research-based policy solutions to end police brutality in America), George Floyd Memorial Foundation (the national non-profit organization in memory of George Floyd) and the Minnesota Freedom Fund (a bonding fund paying criminal bail and immigration bond for those who cannot afford to).
