Discover the secrets to amazing getaways by swapping your home! Join one of our Sunday Social events, hosted by 150+ experienced members of our community. They’ll share their tips and stories on making home exchanges a success. 

From get-togethers in our members' homes and backyard through to informal chats in the park or cafes, there are loads of events happening across the Western USA (states participating include:  CA, OR, WA, AZ, CO, NV, ID, WY, UT, NM, HI & AL). Take a look at the events happening near you, and sign up here to meet real home exchangers. They'll be happy to answer your questions and get you off to a great start!

Sign up to attend the event of your choice, so that you can ask your questions and learn about their experiences! If you're browing on your mobile, scroll down within the pop-up window of each HomeExchanger to sign up.

Step 3

Once we have received your request, we will ask the host of the event you want to attend, to get in touch with you to confirm details.

Who can you meet on Sunday Social Day?

Everyone who is hosting an event is a member of the HomeExchange community. These people are huge fans of this great way of traveling, so they've agreed to meet up with people who are intrigued by the concept, so that they can answer your questions and help you get started with our platform. 

What can I expect when I attend a Sunday Social Event?

Every host who is taking part has planned their own event, so there are no hard and fast rules as to what you can expect! Some members will have prepared a little presentation, others will be showing a quick demo of how the website or app works. Some will be ready to show you their home exchange vacation snaps, while others will simply make themselves available to answer your questions. Furthermore, our hosts are picking their own venues and time slots, so you might be invited into their home for a coffee, or they might even suggest you meet them in the park! One thing that's for certain is that it's going to be a really fun event, so do register here to join an event that's local to you

Why do I need to register to attend an event? 

There are two main reasons why we need you to register, and you can't simply just turn up on the day. Firstly, our hosts are undeniably hospitable, but it's important that they know how many people they can expect on the day. Secondly, we need your contact information so that we can stay in touch with you, as everyone who attends an event will be eligible for a very special offer! Normally we offer 250 GuestPoints to anyone who referred to us by their friend. But all attendees of these events will be eligible for double that amount! So if you register to attend an event, and then you pay for your membership before July 23rd, we'll offer you an extra 500 GuestPoints! 

How can I see the precise address of the event I want to attend? 

On the map, we have included the first part of the zipcode of each event, so you know whether this will be easy for you to get to. Once you have identified which event you'd like to attend, you will then need to make a note of the number that has been attributed to that home, so that you can complete the registration form here - this will enable our hosts to know who they can expect on the day. A week before the event takes place, we will then send you an email with the full address of where it is taking place, plus contact information for your host so that you can get in touch with them - just to say hello, and perhaps confirm what time you're thinking of attending! We'll also send your host your name, phone number and email address, so that they can let you know about any specific arrangements for the event. 

Will you be offering an incentive for attending one of these events? 

You'd better believe it! We want as many people as possible to join our members' events on June 23, so we're offering a great incentive for anyone who goes to have a chat with their host, and then becomes a member of our community. Simply ask your event host to provide you with their 'Refer your friends' code. Then when you pay for your membership (from June 23rd until July 23rd) both you and your host will receive double the usual sponsorship GuestPoints. This means that instead of receiving a bonus of 250 GuestPoints, you'll both receive 500 GuestPoints - ready for you to arrange a stay in one of our members' homes!
