"We are Jane and John, a retired couple living in the city of Inverness in Scotland. Our home exchange journey began in 2016 when we made our first exchange to Italy. We are still in touch with those exchange partners, Gabriella and Mauro. Since then we have been to France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Wales, New York, Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco, London, Bristol, Cornwall, Amsterdam, Vienna, and quite a few other places. The joy of exploring new regions still excites us and we love knowing that our exchange partners are having a similar experience when they stay in our home. Our mission is to "invest in our exchange partners' holiday memories" so that they have the best time ever!"

"My name is Anna, and my first exchange was in Switzerland in 2016. We stayed in a spacious cosy flat over the New Year break. The flat had a beautiful Christmas tree, a fully equipped kitchen with some cheese and wine for us in the fridge and many toys for our sons. We felt relaxed straight away and knew this is the start of something very exciting. Since then, we have visited Gran Canaria, Belgium, France, Spain, Germany and many pretty villages around the UK. Quite often we end up swapping with families who live in the countryside where the house comes with pets. We all love cats and having them around when we were on holidays made it very special. A couple of times we were asked to look after the chicken. As a reward we have lovely fresh eggs free of charge every day."

"I’m Alanna, and me and my family from York, England love HomeExchange! We have travelled to Amsterdam, Barcelona and Brussels, as well as different towns in England and it is always the best experience! We love having our own space and living like locals, and we also save money on accommodation and food. It’s also great that our home can be enjoyed and looked after while we are away - we have never had any issues and everyone has always been respectful. We are excited to spend Christmas in NYC on a HomeExchange this year too!"
