This cosy, detached chalet is situated on a coastal holiday park in Greencastle, County Donegal. The chalet is perfect for a family holiday, boasting a bright, social open plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen, and doors leading to a decked patio, where you can enjoy a morning coffee with the paper. As the chalet is on a holiday park, it benefits from the shared use of a tennis court, a children's play area and a football pitch, so you can enjoy family fun without even having to leave the site!
Enjoy a friendly kick-about together, before heading off for a game of golf on the scenic course at the Greencastle Golf Club, or a spot of angling nearby. Sweet Nellie's Beach is just a short stroll from the property, whilst Shrove Beach is just a mile away, where you can admire the beautiful sea views.
This stunning and picturesque holiday village on the County Donegal coast,is home to Newborough Castle, built from green freestone, and giving the village its name. The pier in the village is a bustling, exciting place, with fishermen landing their catch daily, and with docked boats bobbing about in the water. Lying on to Lough Foyle, one of just three glacial lakes in Ireland, Greencastle is great for fishing, while Greencastle Golf Club is just 1 km away and offers 18 holes surrounded by beautiful scenery. There are lots of areas around Lough Foyle to explore, and there’s even the famous lighthouse at Inishowen Head to enjoy. Dine out in style in Greencastle, at the award-winning Kealy’s Seafood Bar and enjoy a pint in one of the local pubs. Greencastle is a great Irish seaside location.
