Our 240 square meter home, built in 2010 is both cozy and modern and has all the amenities necessary for an enjoyable home exchange. On the ground floor we have a large lounge with sleeping bed, Xbox one game console, television and toys for the younger members of the family. There is also a bedroom which sleeps two people, a bathroom, sauna and separate washing room on the same floor. In the garden we also have a trampoline for the kids (and sometimes for the grown-ups too :)
On the first floor we have a large lounge, dining, and kitchen area combined into one along with two bedrooms, an en suite bathroom, and separate WC. Our home is also surrounded by an 85 square meter terrace on the first floor which provides sun from morning to night during the Summer months, along with barbeque facilities and an outdoor jacuzzi.
A 7-seat car can also be made available along with other outdoor equipment, if desired. However, Norway's largest amusement park "Tusenfryd" is only a stones throw away and is accessible by foot, as is the local shopping mall.
Our home is only 20 minutes from central Oslo by car (25 by bus) with public transport readily available. It is quick to get to all the attractions and hustle and bustle of city life with all its cultural attractions at the same time as you wake up to the birds singing in peaceful surroundings. You may even get a visit from a flock of deer that comes past our house from time to time! If you visit in the summer we live very close to the coast with many places to go swimming or hiking. A ten minute drive will take you to two different 18-hole golf-courses. During the winter, it only takes 40 minutes to Oslo Winterpark with possibilities for snowboarding and downhill skiing. Should you prefer cross-country, there are several opportunities for that as well in the nearby area. If you enjoy shopping then Norway's biggest brand name retail outlet "Norwegian outlet" is only a 15-minute drive away. Something for the whole family, in other words!

Our house is situated in what was previously a forest for Summer cabins. As such there are many good hiking areas in the region, as well as beaches only a 5-minute drive away. The neighbourhood is a very pleasant one with very pleasant next door neighbours on either side of our house.
Everything you need is within a short distance, although it can be tempting just to stay at our home. You'll see why when you get here :)

Only 5 minutes from the ocean and Norway's biggest amusement park. With only a short journey into Oslo and a little over an hour to Sweden, this is the perfect place to keep the whole family happy!
