Sitting in our living room, I can't help but believe we have one of the most spectacular oceanfront views on the east coast. We're located on the island of Bogue Banks at the southern end of the North Carolina Outer Banks, and at night you can see the beacon of the Cape Lookout Lighthouse from our deck.
Our non-smoking beach getaway is a 2BR/2BA condo, about 1200 square feet, located on the first floor, and you can just about spit into the ocean from our deck. It’s a one-flight walkup from parking, and there is an elevator for the building. The pool is just steps away, and you can be on the beach in less than one minute. Five minute drive to the North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores, ten minute walk to the marina and soundside of the island, ten minute drive to Atlantic Beach in one direction, twenty minutes to Emerald Isle in the other. Daytrips are available to a couple of lighthouses, to islands where wild ponies roam, and there are great opportunities for fishing and scuba.
Come experience North Carolina hospitality (and bar-b-q!); you'll have a blast in this amazing setting.

Our condo is located in a complex called The Breakers in the development of Beacon's Reach in Pine Knoll Shores. This beautifully landscaped community is 6 miles west of Atlantic Beach and directly adjacent to the Theodore Roosevelt Natural Area, a federally protected Maritime Forest. This community consists of over 450 oceanfront and soundside homes and condominiums. Within Beacon's Reach, there are numerous swimming pools, tennis courts, walking paths and beach access trails. The Marina at Beacon's Reach provides boat ramp access, storage and dockage. You can also visit the NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores or tour the grounds of the civil war fort located at the tip of the island. The historical communities of Morehead City, Beaufort and Swansboro are within a twenty-minute drive.
