Welcome to our beautiful and comfortable newly renovated duplex located on the top 4th and 5th floors of an historical 1910 building with elevator (most buildings do not have one) in Ruzafa, the hippest and liveliest neighborhood in Valencia. Maximum capacity is 6 people.
The eclectic contemporary décor is colorful as Spain and yet relaxing. Our home is full of sun, lights and has no direct neighbors in any of the rooms, a big plus for a downtown location. All the floors feature wood parquets.
The living room features an amazing wall mural of Lisbon famous Alfama district. The dining table opposite the open kitchen sits eight. Enjoy breakfast or a snack on the kitchen counter or on the small balcony overlooking the quaint street. There is a Sonos sound system in the dining area, living room and master bedroom. Relax with a glass of Sangria on the quaint balcony (standard-size chairs), or with your friends with the disco lights for fun.
The Gourmet kitchen features top of the line Bosch appliances with a full-size refrigerator/freezer, induction cooktop range, programable oven with air fry, water filter and is fully equipped (Nespresso coffee maker, big toaster) with top cooking utensils like Japanese Chef’s knives and Jamie Oliver pans.
The frame 55-inch Samsung TV in the living room with a Sonos sound bar delivers top quality entertainment. The TV with colored backlights showcases some of the best art pieces of world-famous museums and painters creating a one-of-a-kind atmosphere.
The living room pull Over Italian Sofa Bed features 150cm (59 inches) bed with top notch quality 11-inch (28 cm) mattress. Watch your favorite series, read a book, or relax on the recliner next to the sofa. This area can be fully enclosed with back-out curtains for privacy.
The dedicated workspace with high power three screen computer, a desk and amazingly comfortable adjustable Corsair gaming chair is connected to the living room via a sliding door. A full-size bathroom (small sink) with shower accessible to someone with mobility issues is connected to that area via the dedicated workspace.
A classic steel and marble staircase brings us to the three bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs.
The master bedroom has an ensuite modern small but functional bathroom with shower, heater and towels heaters. Two large single motorized adjustable beds combine into a large US queen size (180cm; 71 inches) complimented by a makeup vanity dresser with a mirror. Vaulted ceiling and a picturesque Spanish mini balcony overlook colorful typical Valencian buildings.
The second bedroom, with a beautiful peaceful full-wall design, has an orthopedic 150cm (59 inches) mattress and a desk next to a large double window.
The third Van Gogh small bedroom feature a pull Over Italian Sofa Bed features a 80cm (31.5 inches) bed with top notch quality 11-inch (28 cm) mattress perfect for a single individual and a full size window. Kindly note that this bedroom is only available for stays of a minimum of 14 days. The second and third bedrooms share a stylish small bathroom with shower, heater and towels heaters.
A top of the line 3 screens computer is available in the small office. A three-TP Link router system provides very reliable high speed WIFI in the entire duplex. Using your accounts, Netflix, Amazon Prime and YouTube are available on all four smart TV’s. The dozens of Spanish channels do not require an account. All three bedrooms have safe deposit boxes and fans in addition to A/C and Heating and full-size mirrors. Everything is brand new and you will get clean beds and bathrooms linens.
Our cleaning lady comes once a week. We respond to ALL inquiries within 48 hours and are available via WhatsApp for whatever you need while staying at our place.
We love unique decor, architecture and beautiful spaces, and we would love to share our home with respectful guests. We hope you enjoy your stay!

It is filled with coffee shops, American-style and Spanish Authentic bakeries, busy cafes with terraces, late-night bars and clubs, and restaurants serving excellent Spanish cuisine, burgers or Italian, Moroccan and Turkish specialties. The streets are dotted with small art galleries, indie clothing boutiques, and organic food shops, while stalls in the brutalist Mercat de Ruzafa are piled with produce.
Valencia the city where the Paella originated is a beautiful city with stunning art deco and Spanish design buildings with many palm tree lined avenues.
Our cozy apartment is in a small street, lively yet quiet with very little noise. It is just a 5-minute walk from The “Plaça de Toros” bullring hosting concerts and bullfights, and the bustling Calle Colon; the main shopping avenue of Valencia. The picturesque Medieval town, Europe largest, is a 10-minute walk. The oceanographic aquarium and the architectural marvel not to be missed “Cuidad de los Artes y Ciencas” (City of Arts and Sciences) is only a four-stop metro ride. Beautiful beaches and the seaside walkway with bars and restaurants offering excellent Paellas are a 30 minute bus ride.
Our home is very well connected by public transport, allowing easy access (many walking) to all major city landmarks. The airport is only a 15-minute cab ride or 30 minutes door-to-door by Metro/Tram. The modern high speed train station is a 10 min walk and connects at very affordable prices to Madrid, Barcelona and major cities in Andalusia.
Valencia, being a flat city, makes it perfect for renting a bicycle and exploring one the longest network of bike lanes in Europe. "Yego" electric motorbikes are available throughout the city.
Our home is on Calle Cuba, the most beautiful decorated street in Valencia during the world known “Fallas” https://www.visitvalencia.com/en/events-valencia/festivities/the-fallas, a traditional celebration held annually. The festival was added to UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage of humanity.
It is filled with coffee shops, American-style and Spanish Authentic bakeries, busy cafes with terraces, late-night bars and clubs, and restaurants serving excellent Spanish cuisine, burgers or Italian, Moroccan and Turkish specialties. Kindly note that our home is not equipped with the necessary protection to safely host small children, but teenagers are welcome.
Please note that I do not have one exchange yet because listed in 2014 a spectacular apartment in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic where I lived. However, I had almost no requests as there are few tourists because the city is not safe. So I never used this service and took down that listing mid march 2024 for this new one in Valencia (very, very safe to walk anywhere at anytime, great change) where we live now.
Basis training equipment can be provided upon request.
Capacity: up to 6 guests.
Cleanness is very important to us and you will get a spotless place. There is a 35 euros cleaning fee that you can leave in the apartment when you depart.
The upstairs bathrooms are small with 80 x 80 cm (31.5 x 31.5 inch) showers and may not be adequate for oversized people. In that case, the large one on the first floor is available.
Party-Free Home: To respect our neighbors, parties and loud music are strictly prohibited.
