Hello. Are you dreaming of a trip to Seoul?
Seoul is a very busy and dynamic city where history and modernity coexist.
With the development of transportation such as subway, bus, train, shared bike, and highway throughout Seoul, you don't have to worry about traveling around Seoul, from east to west, south to north, and downtown Seoul.
You can even easily reach cities near Seoul, suburbs, Gangwon-do (mountains and beaches, surfing), Jeolla-do (countryside), and Jeju-do (tropical islands loved by Koreans, beaches and hiking, surfing, local food) within 30 minutes to 3 hours by train, bus, subway, or plane.
(* you can go scroll down to check 'additional information' to check transportation side in detail)
* If you have any questions about my location and house, Feel free to message me. Thank you
[home introduction]
As you may have noticed, the typical size of a house in Seoul may be quite different from where you live. However, you should understand that Seoul is a megacity and a very large population lives in a very small city :)
Suna's house is an old house, but it is located on the 2nd floor (stairs). The interior was completely remodeled in July 2024, so the interior is very modern and clean.
There is a large mirror in front of the shoe cabinet, so you can go out looking perfect :P
Suna's house has bedroom 1, bedroom 2, a kitchen, a living room, a dry toilet, and an indoor terrace.
Bedroom 1: There are blackout blinds, clothes hangers, and a super single-sized bed. The bedding is from the famous Korean brand Zinus Premium line. Since it is furniture that is much more thoughtful than the typical Airbnb, you will be able to sleep well, right?
Bedroom 2: It has a queen-sized bed (Zinus brand) that can accommodate up to 2 people. There are clothes hangers, blackout blinds, curtains, and a dressing table.
Bathroom: It was installed as a dry toilet during remodeling. Most Korean houses have wet toilets, so you will get your feet wet every time you use them. But you don't have to worry about that at Suna's house.
Kitchen: Induction is installed and the most necessary cooking utensils are set up. There is a small table for 2-3 people, a washing machine, induction, kettle, microwave, rice cooker, etc.
Living room: There is a smart TV (can connect to Netflix, etc.), air conditioner, 2-3 person sofa, and table.
Indoor terrace: There is a coffee table. You can also work or do business here.

When traveling around downtown Seoul, you may want to rest in a quiet place because of the many billboards, the always busy people, and the 24-hour flashing lights. If so, my house is the perfect choice. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood while not far from the city center.
Are you curious about what you can enjoy in the neighborhood while staying at this house?
Here, I would like to introduce a quiet part of Seoul that many travelers miss.
1. Gungsan (10 min walk)
There is a small mountain 10 min walk from my house. If you walk up the hill for about 30 min, you can see the cityscape of Seoul and the Han River, and you can also take a break in the park on the hill. If you are tired of traveling in the city, this place can give you a break.
2. Seoul Botanical Garden (10 min walk)
Seoul Botanical Garden, located 10 min walk away, is a really big park that recently opened. It is so big that it takes about an hour to walk around the whole place. There is an artificial lake in the middle. It is a very beautiful place that sparkles with lights at night. It is great for a walk every day. It is a very peaceful place where local people walk, run, or walk their dogs in the morning and evening.
3. Magok Coffee Street & Space K Museum & Restaurant Street & NC Department Store (10 min walk from Seoul Botanical Garden)
After walking around Seoul Botanical Garden, you can go to Coffee Street. Coffee Street is home to a variety of cafes with outdoor terraces, where you can experience Korean coffee and dessert culture. It's great for reading a book or chatting with friends who came with you.
Within a 100m radius, there are restaurants, bars, LP bars, pubs, and dessert shops. You'll be spoiled for choice with so many choices. They have all the food and all the drinks, so if you're not sure, ask Suna!
3. Hangang Park (10 min walk)
There's a path that leads directly to the Hangang River within a 10-minute walk from my house. This is a great location that's hard to find in Seoul. Do you like walking at night? Or do you enjoy jogging in the morning? You can rent a shared bike and ride along Hangang Park for just $1 per hour. If you ride a bike for an hour, you can reach Gangnam along the Hangang River. You can also plan an interesting bike trip.
5. Convenience store & mart & gym & cafe & wine shop & local restaurant (all within 5 to 10 minutes walking distance)
All the infrastructure necessary for city life can be solved within walking distance.
6. Large mart (Homeplus)
You can reach it by 2 bus stops.
7. and so one there are so many places you can easily travel by bus, walk, subway.
