This is our much loved family home & has a comfortable, lived in & welcoming feel.
It's a classic Victorian-style terrace. Downstairs has 2 reception rooms, a well equipped kitchen diner (we love to cook!) & small WC. Upstairs are 4 bedrooms & a family bathroom. The bedrooms have one king size & one double bed, a kids single cabin with pull out single trundle bed & a small guest room with a single bed.
We have an enclosed private garden with seating, a firepit & kids toys available. I have an allotment just across the road and invite guests to use any seasonal fruit & veg during exchanges if they wish.
There's a private parking space & garage in a communal off-road parking block just behind the house (1min walk). I have a 4-door/5-seat petrol car and happy to consider carswops (esp for longer/international exchanges). Unfortunately no power to the garage yet so we don’t have EV charging. Please also note that street parking in this area is resident permit holders only; my car has a permit.
We have a cat (she's very calm, gentle & low maintenance!) and would ask guests to feed her daily. We also have a dog who will either come on holiday with us or stay with family during any exchanges.

Our house is in a residential neighborhood on a beautiful Victorian terraced street. There's a family play park just across the road and a great pub (family & dog friendly!) down the road (less than 5min walk) serving excellent local food and drink.
From the house it's only a 10min walk right into the town center. Truro's a lovely little cathedral city, packed full of shops, local markets, cafes & restaurants. It's very safe, clean and welcoming. Other amenities, such as larger supermarkets, healthcentres & pharmacies, are also within walking distance.
You'll be in the heart of stunning Cornwall, a major UK holiday destination on the south-west tip of England. We're surrounded by jaw-dropping coastline, from the towering cliffs and sweeping golden sandy beaches on the north coast, to the quiet coves, inlets and fishing villages along the south coast. This is a great area for outdoor activities, from hiking the coast path to world-class surfing. The county is steeped in maritime, mining & agricultural heritage to explore. World famous sites nearby include the Eden Project, St Michael's Mount & Tintagel Castle. Explore more about Cornwall www.visitcornwall.com
There's good public transport links. The mainline train station is a 15min walk from the house and the main bus station is 10mins in town.
