Welcome to our quaint flat nestled within a renovated historic farmhouse in a family friendly district of Heidelberg!
Our home offers modern comfort and rustic charm, with wood ceilings and an open living, eating, and cooking area. Accessible for wheelchairs and strollers, our space ensures inclusivity for all guests. The kitchen island is a perfect spot for culinary adventures.
The bedroom features a large double bed with a mattress protector and removable safety guards, ideal for families with toddlers and babies. There is also space to place a travel cot (not provided). In the living area you‘ll find a futon sofa that transforms into a small double bed. If you want to use it, we provide a mattress topper for added comfort. The futon bed can be supplemented by an additional high quality single mattress put on the floor for extra guests.
From the living area you step outside onto your private terrace, where you can enjoy the green oasis of the community garden, complete with a traditional wood BBQ ("Schwenkgrill"), vegetable beds, and an array of berries and fruit trees ripe for picking in the summer months.
For those musically inclined, feel free to use our electric piano or guitar!
With friendly neighbors happy to chat or lend a helping hand, your stay will be well cared for.

You can safely secure your bikes in a designated roofed area in front of the entrance. We can also provide two bikes and everywhere in the city you can rent bikes by minute (VRN next bike app).
The shared hallway with washing machine and dryer can also be used to store strollers or bike trailers. If you have a baby sleeping in a stroller, just wheel them inside and enjoy the free time. Feel free to use the children's equipment in the garden, sand pit, bobby cars, high chair for the garden and swing. If needed we can provide toys for babies and toddlers.
The bedroom is facing the street (not too busy, and limited to 30km/h), so you will hear some cars and the occasional bus in the early and late hours of the night. If you want to leave the window open in the summer and are noise sensitive, we recommend earplugs.
We provide a good fan for the summer months. Because the flat is on the ground floor, even high temperatures in the summer are fine at night, if you leave the bedroom curtains closed during the day.
