On the road that leads to the Pyrenees, we offer you a stay in the countryside between ocean and mountains.
Our typical Bigorre house (built in 1901) is located near the Adour and Bazet's lake from where you will enjoy a magnificent view of the Pic du Midi de Bigorre!
We are a couple Aurel and Mélaine with 3 children Tristan (16 years old), Coline (11 years old) and Louve (20 months). We moved to this magnificent region 4 years ago in order to be able to fully enjoy activities related to the mountains, the ocean and especially the climate!
We recently discovered HomeExchange and appreciate this principle of mutual exchange.
This summer, we are planning a 5-week family trip to Australia. (from June 30 to August 7)
This is why we would be happy to welcome you during these 5 weeks in our charming family home.
Ideally, we would like an exchange for GP over a minimum period of 10/15 days, and maximum of 5 weeks.
During your stay, my father, living in the apartment adjoining the house, will take care of the maintenance of the swimming pool and the garden. He can intervene if necessary.
The house (200m2) consists of:
on the ground floor:
- a large living room of 70m2 living/dining room with fireplace and TV corner
- a fully equipped kitchen
- a bedroom/office with laundry room and toilet
on the 1st floor:
- 3 bedrooms
- a bathroom with toilet (bathtub and walk-in shower)
the 2000m2 wooded garden:
- a large swimming pool
- a large terrace
- a trampoline
- large spaces to play.
At the entrance to the property, an exterior courtyard serves as parking.
We would like to point out that this is an old country house. The finishes are not perfect. It shows some signs of wear.

From the village you can reach - on foot or by bike - the "Caminadour" path which runs along the Adour river for 11 km.
Fishing enthusiasts will be delighted by the nearby lake.
