Hva kommer du til å elske i dette hjemmet
Our home is strictly none smoking.
This Victorian terrace cottage in the heart of Shakespeare's Stratford Upon Avon dates back to 1877, and has retained many of its original features including wooden panel doors, and sash windows, but is light, deceptively spacious, and offers comfortable modern living.
It is beautifully decorated in neutral tones and golden tones with a good mix of old and new and has its private courtyard garden, perfect for summer evenings or having a BBQ after a busy day of sightseeing around Stratford Upon Avon.
Our holiday cottage comprises two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed, and the second with two single beds (all have orthopedic memory foam mattresses which are brand new).
There is a brand-new luxury Hotel-style bathroom with a contemporary free-standing bath and wall-hung sink both with waterfall taps and a large separate shower. The bathroom has a heated towel radiator and a huge wall mirror with a vanity shelf below for all your toiletries. Tiled floor and walls.
The kitchen and utility rooms are modern, fitted with new appliances, and outside there is a courtyard garden which is perfect for alfresco dining in the summer if you so wish (a charcoal BBQ is also there for your use). The Lounge comfortably seats five people and has a flat-screen TV with a free view and Netflix for a cozy night in and there is a book shelf with a good selection of reading material and family games that can be found in the dining room in a wicker a labeled wicker basket. The dining table seats four persons and has a staircase that leads to the second floor of the house.
Our holiday cottage is equipped with a Dolce Gusto coffee machine as well as tea, sugar, and milk. In the bathroom, you will find fresh towels and a welcome pack of Hotel-style toiletries, which will restore natural beauty to the body and soul after a day on the go.
We have a travel cot, highchair, portable stair gate, and bed guard available if requested before the stay. There is a washing machine, dishwasher, tumble drier, fridge, microwave, kettle, champagne bucket, Esky, steam iron, ironing board, single oven, pull out clothes line and ceramic four-ring hob with overhead extractor, which are all new.

Hva du vil elske med dette nabolaget
Our holiday cottage is perfectly located with an abundance of Stratford Upon Avons cafés, restaurants, and shops nearby. The RSC Theatre and Shakespearean places of interest are just a minute's walk away. You will not be short of things to do, and The River Avon is perfect for an evening stroll or taking in the sights by water. No car is necessary as you can simply walk everywhere. Those wishing to travel further afield Warwick Castle can be visited by train in 20 minutes and London in under 1.5 hours or Oxford in 40 mins making it a perfect location to base yourself.
For those with more energy, we have plenty of cycle or walking routes with a traffic-free 5-mile route known as The Greenway, taking you to Long Marston with two cafés en-route for refreshments, and where you can also hire bikes from Stratford Bike Hire.
Stratford Upon Avon also has several golf courses: Hallmark Welcombe, Stratford Oaks, Welford, and Stratford's most prestigious club on Tiddington Road - Stratford Upon Avon Golf Club.
The Butterfly Farm is a real hit with children (and adults too!) as is the Mechanical Art and Design Museum. There is a large park next to the river which has fabulous play areas for children and tennis courts and if the weather turns there is also the newly renovated leisure center with a wide variety of sports on offer and an Olympic size swimming pool. We also have an Everyman Cinema in the new Bell Court development. The Wildmoor Spa is a 5-minute journey for those wishing to relax and kickback or treat themselves.
But most of this is within walking distance of your front door!!

This house is constantly maintained to a high level and has great comfy beds and quality bed linen. It's the perfect location for those wishing to kick back relax and not drive. London and Oxford are easy to get to by train or vehicle but we tend to use the train because it's more relaxing.
We are after either a reciprocal exchange in our Winter and the Oz Summer or happy to do a none non-reciprocal exchange as we need to go in the Australian Summer in February as are leaving the UK in mid-January and stopping various places en route.
Our eldest son lives in Mooloolaba and we want to stay near him and then take a second week up the coast to the Whit Sundays with him and his girlfriend.
We charge a cleaning fee of £70 to Guests using our home to cover cleaning and laundry fees.
