My spacious studio has a comfortable living area, walk-in closet and a hallway to the kitchen with a dining table. I'm in the process of decorating my apartment, and I've designed it to prioritize living and entertaining, so it's comfortable for relaxing, working, and overall comfort. All of the rooms have french doors and windows that swing open to the fresh air outside, as well as a standing desk and walking treadmill for any remote workers. The 1970s inspired design in the living space is painted an emerald green to foster relaxation and creativity, with a record player and bar cart for fun nights in.
I have a giant 54" flat screen TV connected to an Apple TV with all of the streaming service apps you could want. I work from home and have a speedy internet connection, as well as a European inspired dining room table and decor in the kitchen perfect for enjoying a cup of tea and croissant in the morning! The walk-in closet will easily store your luggage and clothes, and the tub in the bathroom is ripe for baths!

My neighborhood is South Pasadena, on the eastern edge of Los Angeles County. It's close to other popular neighborhoods Pasadena (3 miles away), trendy Highland Park (2 miles away), and artsy Downtown Los Angeles (6 miles away). The Metro Gold Line is less than 1 mile away, with access to all of Los Angeles.
Mission Street is the main attraction of South Pasadena (less than 1 mile away) featuring tons of restaurants, bars, vintage shops, a library, boba tea, and it's farmer's market on Thursdays. The town is filled with countless filming movie locations from Back to the Future, Halloween, and more. It's filled with history an charm, reminiscent of Stars Hollow from Gilmore or any neighborhood in a Hallmark movie.
From South Pasadena Website:
"The City of South Pasadena is a charming community, situated only six miles from downtown Los Angeles. Called the City of Trees, the area is known for its stunning homes, unique small businesses, and top quality schools. South Pasadena’s diverse population of about 25,000 occupies a mere 3.44 square miles of flatlands and hillsides on the west side of the San Gabriel Valley. This small town atmosphere makes South Pasadena one of California's most desirable locations.
100 acres of parks and playgrounds blanket its landscape and more than 21,000 trees adorn its streets. The quiet, historic character of its attractive neighborhoods is a testament to the preservationist efforts of residents in protecting both its architectural and natural beauty. The city enjoys a low crime rate and the benefits of a close-knit, participation-oriented community. Small, proud and independent, the City of South Pasadena has battled for a hundred years to preserve its status as a distinct and distinctive community."
Within 2 Blocks: One grocery store, one bar, two sit-down restaurants, laundromat, dry cleaners, coffee shop, other stores and eateries.
Within 10 Blocks: LOTS of stores, bars, restaurants (Mission St and Fair Oaks ave are big/cute hubs), Metro Gold Line to all of Los Angeles
Famously VERY clean, quiet, and safe suburban neighborhood. Lots of quiet professionals in the building. Next door to a pre-school, lots of families, kids, and elderly folks.

No laundry in the building!!! Laundromat is a ten minute walk away. Though this may not matter for a short term stay.
Ample street parking if you have a car. I don’t currently own a car, but I do have a bicycle you could use, and the Metro Gold Line is a 20 minute walk away (access to all of LA, Hollywood, and the aforementioned neighborhoods), and of course rideshares are always an option!
Pull out bed is queen-sized and very comfortable. I use it as my nightly sleeper, and you will have no problem sleeping on it for a short term stay. Many pillows and a comforter, sheets, etc.
My dog is an 8lb hypoallergenic yorkie and does not shed, and is very clean. I have dog and cat allergies myself, and he does not affect them.
