Our home is a new build 3 bed detached house overlooking a Country Park and is close to all amenities . The small train station in our village is only a 5-10 min walk from the house having direct services to bigger towns and cities . London can be reached within 1hr 25 min from this train station .
Our home has 3 bedrooms the master bedroom having ensuite with shower and King Sized bed .
And 2 more double rooms which are child friendly - one with single bed and one with a double. Both have freestanding wardrobes to provide closet space.
There is an additional double sofa bed in the living room as well as a fold up bed and a travel cot.
Downstairs we have kitchen/diner, entrance hallway , downstairs Wc, and a very cosy living room.
Private parking space at the rear of the house. Artificial lawned garden and patio to the back and outside dining area.

Our village is an ex mining village having all amenities, supermarkets ,bakery’s, pharmacies, doctors , dentist ,train station , bus station , pubs , cafes , take away all within walking distance or a short drive. We are a small town (village ) yet very close to bigger towns and cities .
Seaside towns , The Yorkshire dales,The Peak District and many more are all within one hour to 2 hours drive away.
We have 2 train stations in the village (ten min walk from the house ) with a direct route to Leeds,York , Doncaster and Sheffield with a journey time from 10 to 45 mins and cheap fare.
There are many places even closer by to visit within a 20 min drive, historical homes and gardens,cinema, bowling , country walks and many more close by. There are many national trust sites closeby which our guests could visit to enjoy some really beautiful and fun places .
I would say we live in the ideal place to visit the best of Yorkshire whether you take the car or go by train It is all within easy reach.
The city of York is a 45 min drive away and so is the beautiful town of Harrogate .

We own a pet Shih Tzu named Hugo who is incredibly friendly and well trained and used to living in a home with children. Due to his breeding he doesn’t shed so is good for anyone with allergies.
