Our spacious home has stunning landscape views of the Cougar Point golf course hole #4 & #5 and the expansive Kiawah River beyond. Oyster Rake is a private cul-de-sac tucked away just past the first gate with both privacy and a perfect location. Beach access is an easy walk (7min), bike (3 min), or drive (1 min) to boardwalk #5. It is just 5 minutes from Freshfields for grocery shopping. The exchange is for the entire single family home.
Inside, the main floor features a kitchen, family room, and screened dining porch with panoramic views of the golf course and Kiawah river. The primary suite is also on the main floor, with a dedicated screened sitting porch that allows year round use. Perfect for morning coffee or evening reading. Upstairs are two very large family style suites. Each has a King bed, two twin beds, and a private bathroom. A separate ground floor family room is ideal for kids and teens to have their own space for games and TV.
If you must get work done, the house has high quality high speed Internet and a dedicated office in the bedroom.

At 10 miles long, the island has the cleanest, widest, and most serene beaches on the US East Coast. It is often ranked in the Top 10 of beaches in the US. Along side that 10 miles of beach, are 4 world class golf courses, including the famous Pete Dye Ocean Course which hosted the infamous 1992 Ryder Cup and 2021 PGA Championship. The courses are all public to play, so set a tee time well in advance! The island is also a nature preserve filled with many miles of bike lanes and foot paths that make it a natural oasis perfect for photographers.

You are just 30 minutes away from Charleston, one of the 3 oldest cities in North America that is rich with history and among the best cuisines in the country.
