My home is nice and bright, airy and with open view to a central square, in the 2nd floor of a typical 70s building. It has recently been partly renovated, and I like to keep it clean and tidy. Apart from air-conditioning it has ceiling fans in every room which is life-saving for the hot summer days and nights. It has a narrow balcony with plants that would appreciate a little water every few days. Also some indoor plants that will need some water about once a week. There is an electric piano and a stereo in the living room and a Sonos wifi speaker in the kitchen and two guitars (classic and acoustic) as well as an electric drum kit. One bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom is my daughter's bedroom who is currently studying in Chicago. There is a dining table in the living room and two desks, one in the sitting room and one in my daughters bedroom. The flat has a bathroom and an extra WC. I have a car that could possibly be included in the exchange.

I live in the historic centre of Thessaloniki, opposite a big square and the ancient Roman Agora. Just opposite my balcony is Panagia Halkeon, a byzantine church that was built about 1000 years ago and is still a functioning Christian Orthodox Church. The main food markets are minutes away, as well as the main shopping streets. The port and the old see front are about 7 minutes walk. Thessaloniki is a small city and you can go pretty much everywhere on foot from the centre. There are many excellent restaurants within walking distance. Almost all the museums as well.
From Thessaloniki you can travel to a number of lovely beaches, mountains (the Olympus mountain is about an hour and a half drive) and other nature resorts.
