Relax with dining or coffee on the verandah and deck in peaceful surroundings nestled in a tropical garden. Only minutes to shops, restaurants, 15 minutes to Beaches and Cairns city/Esplanade, barbeques, boardwalk and swimming Lagoon. Fully fitted kitchen with coffee maker and dishwasher.

Cairns is on the east coast of Queensland and the jewell of the magnificent Great Barrier Reef. It's also the gateway to the oldest tropical rainforest on earth and the only place on the planet where World Heritage-listed Daintree rainforest meets the Reef.
The Great Barrier Reef is easily the gem in the Seven Natural Wonders of the World crown. It is the world's largest, living coral reef system (bigger than Switzerland, Holland and the United Kingdom combined!), the largest living organism on earth and is even visible from space.
Cairns is the tourist hub of North Queensland which boasts lovely beaches north and south along the coast. Our favourites are Trinity Beach and Palm Cove just 20 minutes from our home.
What an adventure awaits you. Beautiful beaches, beach front dining, warm balmy days under palm trees in paradise. Great walks, hiking or cycling within minutes of our home. Many cosmopolitan restaurants and bars to choose from in the area.
Our coral sea provides sailing, swimming, snorkelling, scuba diving, fishing, jet skiing, day trips to the reef. Or seek out one of our many cool freshwater swimming holes for a picnic.
Or you can take the trek west into vast savannah landscape where spectacular gorges, ancient lava tubes and the history of Australian pioneers await discovery. Uncover these hidden gems in the rugged lands of the Gulf Savannah. Australian pioneering history, Aboriginal culture.
On the Tablelands 60mins away, serene waterfalls, towering trees and crater lakes contrast against a tapestry of farms along self-drive trails to timeless villages.

Our tenancy through HomeLink, homesits, and renting through Airbnb has been highly rated. You would not be disappointed in our care of your home; and we would expect that you also would maintain a high level of care of our home.
We enjoy our tropical outdoors and regularly attend to the garden for our own pleasure. Leaves blow, palm fronds fall down, and plants need watering, so whatever you can do would be appreciated and will also enhance your enjoyment of the tropical environment. We generally arrange for a gardener to come once while you are here who will mow, trim etc.
