The first floor features a living room, dining room and kitchen as well as two bedrooms with queen size beds and two full bathrooms. The spacious screened porch can be accessed by sliding doors in each bedroom as well as the living room and dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped with all amenities and appliances.
The family room is open to the kitchen and includes a flat screen TV and DVD player. There is a breakfast table that seats 6 as well as 3 counter stools and additional chairs. You may choose to dine outdoors at one of the tables on the screened porch. A high chair is available as well as 2 pack 'n plays. A front load washer/dryer are located on the first floor.
The master bedroom and bath are located upstairs and offer beautiful ocean views from a private balcony. A second porch off the master bedroom overlooks the 9th fairway of the George Cobb designed Bald Head Island golf course. The master bath offers double sinks and a separate shower and garden tub. A bunk room and bath offers room for 4 more! There is a flat screen TV and DVD player in the Master Bedroom and in the Bunk Room.
We provide beach towels, all linens, pre-arrival cleaning, and wireless internet service. For quiet nights enjoy a great selection of DVDs, books and board games. Surf and Turf is a two minute bike or golf cart ride to the Bald Head Island club or the beach.
In the garage you will find a 4-seater and 6-seater golf cart, both with seatbelts for the safety of you and your family. You will also find sand and beach toys, an umbrella and beach chairs for your use. There is plenty to do on the island - casual-to-elegant dining, several clothing/gift shops, camps and education programs, etc. There is a full service grocery store, ice cream shop and take-out pizza. Fishing, kayaking, surf lessons, scavenger hunts and sightseeing charters are available. Come see for yourself - Bald Head Island is a perfect vacation destination.

Our house is located in a cul-de-sac and just a 3 minute cart ride from the beach. You may opt for a temporary membership to the BHI club and gain access to the pool and tennis courts. Or you may choose to spend your days at the popular Shoals Club with its pool, dining and beach access. There are trails for hiking, great roads for biking and several restaurants for dining. A full service grocery store is also available on Bald Head Island.

"Surf and Turf", our beach getaway off the coast of NC, is our favorite place to relax and enjoy ocean breezes and beautiful sandy beaches.
You do not have to deal with traffic - there are no cars on Bald Head Island. Just golf carts and bicycles!
We love kayaking, hiking, and climbing the Old Baldy Lighthouse when we aren't swimming or playing on the beach. The great thing about Bald Head is you can always find something to do - or enjoy doing nothing at all!
