My home is situated in a historic and picturesque courtyard in the centre of Utrecht. The house was built around 1800 and totally renovated in 2015. It is designed by an architect that created as much space and light in the house as possible. The house is a split level house wth a modern kitchen with old heigh ceilings and all necessary equipment, a dining area with open doors to the courtyard, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The house is well insulated and throughout the house there is floor heating which makes the house nice and cosy in winter times. There is high speed internet in all rooms and there is a small shed with bicycles you can use to explore Utrecht City. Outside the house there is a courtyard full of plants and flowers and there is a picnick table you can use to drink a glass of wine or enjoy a meal.

The house is situated in Utrecht City Centre. Utrecht is a city in the Netherlands, known for its medieval center. It has tree-lined canals, Christian monuments and a venerable university. The iconic Domtoren, a 14th-century bell tower with city views, stands opposite the Gothic Cathedral of St. Martin on central Domplein square. From our home you can easily walk anywhere. The Domtoren, the canals with boats and water bicycles, theaters, cinemas, the flower market and all shops are within walking distance.
Our home is also within walking distance of Utrecht Central Train Station. As Utrecht is the central hub of all trains in the Netherlands you can easily visit other big cities as Amsterdam (20 min), The Hague (40 min) and Rotterdam (40 min). You can also take a bus to the train station. Just a 100 meters from our front door you will find the bus stop that will take you to the train station in just a few minutes.
The special thing about our home is the fact that it is situated right in the city centre but the courtyard is built in between other houses which gives a feeling of tranquility and peacefulness. It is a really special place.
