Beautiful chalet in the Schwettiberg area of Braunwald, the car-free town at 1,200 m/s with amazing views of the Toedi glacier and the surrounding mountains. The 3-storey chalet, built in traditional Swiss high-quality standards, has all amenities one can wish, including sauna, wi-fi, cable TV, fireplace and much more.
Enjoy absolute peace, wonderful stargazing at night and amazing views during the day.

The Schwettiberg neighbourhood in Braunwald is very cozy and includes a little grocery shop where you can find almost anything you need. It is about 10 minutes walk from the chalet. In winter, the overall ski area can be reached through the Schwettiberg skilift, which is about 15 minutes walk from the chalet (just past the grocery shop).
As Braunwald is car-free, getting around is either by walking or through local taxi companies (with pick up either by small e-bus or, if you prefer a romantic ride, by horse carriage).
You can reach Braunwald through a cable car departing every 30 min (from early morning till late evening) from Linthal, which itself can be reached by car (there is a big parking for guests of the cable car) or train (get out at the Linthal-Braunwaldbahn station). If you have a lot of luggage, you can get a trolley to load everything and be put at the back of the cable car (nominal fee applies).
When checking in (or out), it is highly recommended to get a local e-taxi to the house (particularly if you have luggage and other goods to transport). Instructions and contact numbers will be provided upon confirmation, so that your taxi will be ready to pick you and your luggage up at the arrival of the cable car.

Please note: As we are currently living abroad, we have a person taking care of the check-in and -out, as well as the laundry and final touch up at the end of the stay. We have an agreed fixed compensation for this that we would need you to pay directly to him during your stay. We still expect the chalet to be left in good and clean conditions.
For the same reason, a MINIMUM STAY of 6 days is requested. Thanks for your understanding.
Finally, local authorities expect guests to pay guest taxes per day of stay. These are CHF 4.40 per adult/day and 2.20 per child (6-15)/day. This will give you the right to get a free Glarner Pass that will allow you free travel on public transport.
