Our exchange house is our vacation home on the NC coast. Located in the quaint town of Topsail Beach, it is a waterfront residence on Banks Channel, adjacent to the Intracoastal Waterway. The best feature of the house is the back deck which faces southwest for incredible sunsets! We also placed the living/kitchen areas and the master bedroom on the 2nd floor to maximize the magnificent view. Our shared dock provides for boating, kayaking, fishing, water sports and relaxing. We are a 5 minute walk from the beach and have beach chairs, umbrellas and a cart to haul everything you need for a day on the beach.
Topsail Island is one of North Carolina’s treasured barrier islands and offers a plethora of features and activities, including fishing, boating, water sports, great walking beaches, walking/cycling paths, golf, cycling, surfing, sea shell seeking, sea turtle habitat, kayaking, shopping, great restaurants and features some of the best sunsets and rest & relaxation you’ll ever find. The town of Topsail Beach is a quiet, family oriented community with charming shops, playground, pickleball courts, putt-putt (miniature golf), ice cream shop, restaurants, interdenominational chapel and our very own Jolly Roger fishing pier.
The house is furnished with everything one needs for a vacation, including bedding for 8, high chair, 2 TVs, internet, wifi, office area w/ printer & monitors, washer, dryer, fully furnished kitchen with every appliance one would need. We have games, books, yard games, outdoor shower, porch swing and 2 decks that face west for the incredible sunsets and our very own “pirate ship” form kids to play on.
Typically, the house is NOT available for exchanges from Memorial Day (last weekend in May) through Labor Day (1st Monday in September) due to summer rentals and our family vacation time. While our favorite months at Topsail Beach are April, May, September and October, it is also a wonderful place to spend holidays and any month of the year, including Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years as North Carolina’s coastal weather is wonderful all year long.

Our house is located at the end of a dead end street/cul-de-sac, which provides for wonderful privacy and safety for neighborly visits and children playing. We are a 5 min. walk from the ocean and 1.5 miles from Topsail Beach’s shopping district - an easy bike ride or leisurely walk. Additionally, kids love our "pirate ship" play area and guests enjoy our bikes, pickleball set, beach chairs, hammock, beach toys and private yard.
Dodatne informacije
The two guest rooms each have a great view, private access to deck and a sink in the room. The bonus room, which has 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds, a TV, desk with printer and monitor and views in 3 directions, is perfect for kids to sleep and/or hang out. Everyone loves our open design of the living/kitchen area, and the incredible views of the sound and sunset.
The house includes use of a shared dock with deep water access. Boats are available to rent on the island.
