Enjoy the beauty of Hilo in this classic beach house. The house is located in front of Richardson's Beach Park, Hilo's premier beach, perfect for snorkeling, swimming, kayaking and surfing. Richardson's beach is a black sand beach with a lifeguard. The property features a private freshwater pond filled with fish.
This Beach House is located in Hilo town, and close to restaurants, shopping, museums, the famous farmer's market, Hilo Hospital, airport, ziplines and much more.
This 3 bedroom two bath home was originally constructed in 1938, and served as the area's post office. The house has been recently renovated and is fully furnished with all the necessities to make your dream vacation. Wireless high speed internet, HD cable TV, fully furnished kitchen, and a covered lanai perfect for relaxing or checking out the surf. In the entry way is a baby grand piano that you are welcome to play for your enjoyment. There is a laundry room fully equipped with washer and dryer for your use. An array of beach toys are available for all guests including noodles, beach mats, boogie boards, snorkels and sand toys. The neighborhood is 10 minutes drive outside of Hilo and the airport. It's stretched along the various beach parks and coves in an area known as Leleiwi. The house is located directly in front of Richardsons Beach park. It is the perfect neighborhood for beach hopping and tropical enjoyment. It has a one-lane back street, Nene St, that runs parallel to the main road. It is one mile in length and begins/ends at the house. It is the perfect spot for jogging or walking. Many of the neighbors walk this street in the evenings.
