Our small mountain cottage is located in the small community of Linville Land Harbor. It has a king sized bed in the primary bedroom, a twin over full bunk bed, and a queen sized sleeper sofa. Our location is just minutes from a wonderful coffee shop that serves Southern style breakfast biscuits, a gift shop with locally made ice cream, and the famous Grandfather mountain! We are conveniently located to the town of Newland which has a grocery store, several restaurants, gas stations, and shops, and there is a Dollar General across from the community for last-minute necessities.
Nearby there are hiking trails with striking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, waterfalls, and more! We are also near the larger towns of Boone and Blowing Rock which have great restaurants for foodies. It’s a wonderful balance of getting away from it all, but still having access to amenities and activities! We love how family friendly the area is and would love to be a resource to you as you plan your adventures!

The Land Harbor community is an idyllic setting famous for its many rhododendrons. It has trails, fishing, boating, tennis, pickle ball, a heated swimming pool, playgrounds, sand beach, trails, golf, and many planned activities during the summer. Our family often chooses to stay right there to relax!
