**We've accumulated a ton of Guest Points -- we'd much prefer non-simultaneous, flexible exchange opportunities!**
Our home is conveniently and closely located to San Francisco, the Napa/Sonoma wine country, and the Pacific Ocean. (Richard was born in Sonoma and grew up in Napa -- needless to say, we are wine aficionados!) We live in a beautiful geographic area often referred to as "Marin" -- for the county.
We offer a comfortable two story, two bedroom townhouse. Each bedroom has an ensuite, private bathroom. A powder room (toilet and sink) is located on the main first floor. The living room has a queen sofa-bed, so it is possible to have two additional person or two, but 4 is more realistic.
Our home includes a full kitchen, with microwave and dishwasher. A clothes washer and dryer are on the main floor. Wireless internet (wifi), telephone, and cable television are also available. A designated car parking is located in the building's underground parking garage. A security door adds to your comfort.
Because we enjoy traveling, much of our decor is related to our trips. Our home is modest, but quite comfortable.
Immediately across the street from our home is a full-service grocery store, a pharmacy, and several restaurants. A second, gourmet grocery store is only two blocks away. The San Anselmo downtown (three blocks from our home) has several restaurants, bakeries, shops, and a lovely park donated by George Lucas (a San Anselmo resident). Our home faces a major town street, which is convenient for amenities. We've installed sound-proof windows, but, low muffled traffic noise is inevitable.
Marin is a higher, socio-economic, educated, and environmentally aware community. Our proximity to San Francisco, the Pacific ocean, and the Napa/Sonoma wine country are ideal. Muir Woods is a grove of ancient and humongous redwood trees, a few miles away. But our ultimate recommendation is to take the ferry boat from the Larkspur Ferry into San Francisco. You will love it! You will pass by some of the most beautiful waterfront property in California, including Alcatraz Island. The view of the three bridges connecting San Francisco (including the Golden Gate) is gorgeous on a clear day. But the spectacular view of San Francisco from the water's vantage point is unparalleled.

Although we had kitties for many years, at this time, we are unable to accept pets as visitors to our home. We don't allow smoking in our home and would prefer non-smoking guests.
We take great pride in making our home clean and comfortable for our guests; consequently, we are less inclined to exchange for short stay/visits (e.g. 2 -3 days) -- but feel free to contact us, perhaps we can work something out!

San Anselmo is a lovely small town with many conveniences -- supermarket, pharmacy, nice restaurants, antique/boutique shopping, and bus service to San Francisco. Located in the beautiful county of Marin, you have easy access to the Northern California coast, the Sonoma/Napa wine country, and the excitement of San Francisco. San Rafael and Fairfax are neighboring towns with vibrant shopping and eclectic restaurants.
We are located only 15 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge. A car would be most convenient to visit all the sites within our area. There is a ferry service from our area directly to San Francisco, too.
