What you will love about this home
Our 3 bedroom, 2 storey home at Coolum Beach is located on the picturesque northern beaches of Queensland’s beautiful Sunshine Coast, 20 mins south of Noosa. Two separate living areas on different floors provide visitors space and privacy. The lower level is self-contained with new IKEA kitchenette, 2 Queen beds, bathroom, separate toilet, laundry & decks off almost all the rooms. The upper level has a large master bedroom with King bed, ensuite and balcony. The quality mattresses on all 3 beds were purchased in 2022.
The formal lounge has a 55” TV (with Art Mode and stunning QLED 4K resolution) with free to air channels, as well as Netflix and Britbox. Adjoining the lounge room is the dining room, modern kitchen and large outdoor deck. Our home has multiple decks and balconies (6 in total!) from which to enjoy different aspects of the outdoors that Coolum has to offer; whether it be watching ships on the ocean or bird spotting in the tree tops through our telescope. Our house is pet-friendly, with timber floors throughout and a fenced garden for children or dogs to play.

What you will love about this neighborhood
We are located in a quiet street, 2km from Coolum Beach Surf Life Saving Club and esplanade shops and restaurants, a 20 minute walk, 10 minute cycle or 3 minute drive. There are two large supermarkets and many coffee shops and restaurants within a 5 minute drive. Within a 10 minute drive is a magnificent series of golf courses that include the Hyatt Coolum, Mt Coolum Golf Course and the Peregian Springs course.
Sunshine Coast Airport is an Australian international airport located 12km (12 minute drive) from our house and approximately 90 km north of centre of Brisbane. Bonza Airlines got off the ground in February 2023 & offers very competitive fares to & from 17 Australian destinations.
- Buzzy restaurants: Canteen/My Place / Mr Manchino/Chilli Bean Thai. Frank Beach and Amore have great pizzas.
- Cool bars: Canteen has a happy hour. Coolum Beach Hotel / Coolum Surf Club/Coolum Bowls Club.
- Cozy cafés: Alley Cat / The Caf / Compound / Heirloom and great takeaway coffee from Park Lane.
- Retail therapy: Coolum has mostly surf shops. You will need to travel to Noosa or Maroochydore for retail therapy.
- Bit of culture: Many know the Sunshine Coast as the creative heart of Queensland. A place where artists can retreat to to find that inner meaning amongst the tranquility and peace that this area has to offer. The area is home to potters, painters, leather workers, glass artisans, timber and stone carvers and artisans in precious metals. And, to showcase all of these unique works are the seemingly endless array of antique shops and galleries that feature the art of some of Australia's best known painters. With the area's reputation growing rapidly you can follow establisted arts and crafts gallery trails through the villages of Montville, Maleny, Flaxton and Mapleton in the hinterlands. If you want readily available locally made works then there's always Queensland's famous Eumundi Markets.
- Walks in the park: No visit to Coolum is complete without walking the Mount Coolum Track. The ascent to the summit is a bit challenging but hikers are rewarded with panoramic views of the Sunshine Coast, the village of Coolum and the hinterlands. Coolum Boardwalk follows the cliffs above the ocean from Point Perry into the village of Coolum Beach. It is a leisurely walk, suitable for all categories of walkers. From Point Perry, enjoy views of First Bay to the south and Noosa to the north.
- Spot of exercise: The Sunshine Coast hinterland has many walking tracks & sparkling waterfalls. Visitors enjoy walking along Coolum’s beautiful wide beach or the many beaches north & south of Coolum.
- Day tripping: The Sunshine Coast is the ‘Most Loved Destination in the World’ according to the Tourism Index Sentiment and the only place in the world where 3 UNESCO Biosphere Reserves sit side-by-side. With more than 100 kilometres of glorious east coast shoreline, the Sunshine Coast is a world-class surfers’ playground. It is also becoming known as the Craft Beer Capital of Australia! If you enjoy pottering around small towns, the Sunshine Coast Hinterland is packed full of them. Along charming country lanes, fringed by lush rainforest and rolling green farms, you'll find special hamlets like Mapleton, Maleny and Eumundi, only a leisurely 20-50 minute drive from our home. A 25 minute picturesque coastal drive takes you to Noosa with its famous Hastings Street, spectacular coastal track, and side tracks to secluded bays such as Tea Tree and Granite to watch the surfing, and turtles, dolphins and even humpback whales (June to October). Australia Zoo is 40 minutes south. Brisbane is 90 minutes away and is Australia’s third-largest city. Its world-class sporting venues, parklands, cafes, laneways and extensive river walks make it a vibrant and welcoming, metropolitan city.
