What you will love about this home

MINIMUM STAY 5 nights.

Ours is a beautiful two-story flat which fits comfortably seven people. Placed right in the historical and commercial quarter of Girona it has its own parking place , for medium size cars, though not always available , and a nice terrace overlooking the city.
In the bottom flat there are two rooms ( one double bed and one with two single beds) and a bathroom which can become quite independent from the rest of the house. There is also a hall, the kitchen and a large dining-sitting room.
On the top floor there is a double room, a single bed room , where you can put a
kid’s cot) and a full bathroom. There is also a very cosy studio from where you can enjoy a very pleasant terrace with beautiful views over the square which has become a real meeting place for people due to the number of restaurants, cafes and eating places under its arcades. The terrace is big enough to take a small group for a meal.
Since it is our main residence, we need to ask our cleaning lady to come to the house to tidy it up and that’s why we ask a contribution of 40€ for her.

What you will love about this neighborhood

Being right in the center you can move around very comfortably without having to use the public transport.
All the ammenities, interesting places and restaurants are within walking distance.
There's a large park 5' away from the house where you can go jogging or shopping at the local market which is held on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Girona is well known for his good restaurants and houses one of the best restaurants in the world, according the Michelin Guide, El Celler de Can Roca.
In the last years Girona has become famous among the cycling world.
10' away there' s a very good indoor market which is open everyday and offers high quality products.

Additional information

Girona deserves a long visit and this is the reason why we’d like people to stay for a few days. Ask for availability in case you wish to come out of the specified dates.
The city. enjoys a privileged geographical situation, close to the sea and to the Pyrenees. It is well connected both by motorway AP7 and by train to the French border (40’), to Barcelona ( 60’) and the Costa Brava ( 30’). With the high speed train time can be significantly reduced. Therefore it’s quite convenient to visit our beautiful countryside or more hectic Barcelona and then come back to the peace of a quieter place.
Barcelona International airport is 120kms away and the local Girona airport only at 20’.
Girona is well known for its cultural, architectural and historical heritage which can be enjoyed walking in the city or visiting its museums. This wide offer can be competed with the Dali Museum in Figueres, only 30’ from home, and the large offer offered by a big city like Barcelona.
Nowadays Girona has become the place for bikers and the city has lots of shops and cafes where they usually meet.
Girona offers a wide variety of cosy restaurants, cafes, and terraces.
There are two very special dates to come to Girona : end of October when there’s a big fair with lots of events and atractions, and third week of may during the so called «  flower week » when al the city is full of of flower arrangements and rhe patios of the old houses are opened to the public.
