What you will love about this home
Cosy studio in Santander city centre, close to everything. The bedroom is lined with wood, which remembers me a Norwegian cabin; the secondary room has a comfy doble sofa which is also a bed, and there is a smart TV, books in Spanish and English in case you want to have a look, and so on; and the kitchen is full equiped, ready for you to use! The windows are brand new and you can use the aircon if you wish.
What you will love about this neighborhood
Three minutes to the main market (Mercado de la Esperanza) and the Town Hall, 5 from train and bus station (where the bus from the airport stops), and 5 to 10 to the sea and the Bay (Centro Bontín Museum). There are shops, restaurants and bars (and ice creams!) all around. Also a supermarket (Lupa) in the same street (1 minute walk), and if you have a dog you can enjoy a drink with it at 'Opera' bar (1 minute). The closest beach is 'Los Peligros’, which is 35 minutes walks (2.9 km by Google Maps), but at two minutes you can take buses to any beach you want to go.
Additional information
My apartment is ideal for a solo traveller, a couple or a pair of friends (as there are two independent rooms). As the building does not have an elevator and my floor is the sixth, it is convenient that you have no problems with stairs (specifically, 108 stairs).
Pets are welcome, as long as they are well behaved. If you need beds, drinkers and feeders, tell me and I will have them ready for you.
If you come by car, under my house there is 'blue zone' which means you can park for two hours and then you have to move your car (there are machines to pay, but ir is most comfortable to pay with 'Telpark' application). There is a carpark (small and very expensive) under the Town Hall, and free parking in the Colonia del Mar area (a 10-minute walk or less) or in the free carpark of Calle Alta (10 / 15 minutes, but sometimes it takes up to an hour to park the car).
Smoking is banned inside the house to avoid odors, but if you want to smoke you can smoke on the entrace, just in the hall outside, between my door and the window (always without disturbing the neighbors, of course). Let me know and I'll leave you an ashtray by the window.
If you want to use the washing machine do it during the day, at night it makes noise and disturbs the neighbor downstairs.
By the way, the neighbors are very friendly. Treat them with love.
