What you will love about this home
Spacious open design log cabin home with constantly changing deep channel/tidal view- beautiful sunrise and sunsets. Enjoy walking in your own "park" on the 10 acre plot with walking trails, ponds and deer as regular visitors in our open field along the entrance road. Just a 30 minute drive to the beautiful "less traveled" part of Acadia National Park at Schoodic Peninsula. With many similar geologic features, a visitor's center and wonderful views, nature lovers can appreciate and learn about the outdoors without the large crowds. Petit Manan Wildlife Refuge, just fifteen minutes drive, is another hike offering beautiful coastal views. For those looking to rest, vacation and/or work (Starlink Internet connection) in a peaceful environment, you will find that opportunity here. In addition to the main floor and upstairs bedrooms, there is a basement apartment with its own kitchen, bathroom, a queen sized bed and full size futon pull out sofa that is connected through a laundry room.
