Description

Natalie has described his/her home in English.

What you will love about this home

Our road is a quiet gravel "dead end" on a salt water cove, lush with trees, gardens, and historic New England homes that surround a common circle of land. Five other homes are on the lane. Our house faces the upper cover where we experience spectacular sunsets and moonsets.

Outdoor: We have a 7 person spa off of the back porch, by the water along with: a tether ball, 4 bicycles, tennis rackets, boogie boards and children's toys/games. Our property is adjacent to wooded walk and is a 10 minute walk from the town beach. An outdoor fire ring is a favorite of guests year-round.

House: First floor includes a kitchen/dining room and a living room with a fire place and large screen high def television with surround sound.

Bedrooms: Upstairs are 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The master bedroom has breath-taking views over the yard and cove, a private bathroom with large shower, and a king-sized Tempur-Pedic bed. The second cathedral-ceiling bedroom has a double bed. The third bedroom has one double sized bed nestled into a cozy, custom sleeping niche. (We have additional blow up mattresses if requested.)

What you will love about this neighborhood

Our neighborhood is in Wickford, a village of North Kingstown. (More about the historic village: http://histwick.org/) A walk down our road leads over a bridge which connects our neighborhood, past a beautiful library, around the cove and into Wickford village with shops, restaurants, cafes, a fresh fish market, docks and lovely old homes. Highly walkable, you can even row to the fish market, buy your lobsters and cook them up for dinner! Also great long walks in the winter, seal watching, big sledding hill nearby, sweeping views of the ocean, bird watching from the back porch and wicked restaurants in Providence and Newport.

Runners, walkers, swimmers, birders, fishermen, cyclists and artists find lots of great paths and spots in which to be inspired.

Newport is 20 minutes away. Narragansett and other beaches are within a 15 minute drive too. You can get to Boston and New York City easily by car or train. An Amtrak station is 5 minutes away connecting you to Green airport, Providence, Boston, New York, etc. Leaving our Volvo wagon for you is possible too.
