What you will love about this home

Sandy beach, unsurpassed sunsets – you’ll be delighted!

Comfortable single-story year-round winterized cottage near the beach, situated on a 75ft x 120ft landscaped property in the quiet vacation community of Cap Bimet, New Brunswick. Outside, there are flower gardens, a vegetable and herb garden, and a large deck with a view over the garden. Car parking is available on our private driveway. High-speed fiber-optic internet wi-fi service is available throughout the house.

There are three spacious bedrooms, each with ceiling fans. The master bedroom (12' x 13') has a king-size bed, walk-in closet, and a 3-piece ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom (12' x 10') has a king size bed, closet, and workstation. The third bedroom (16' x 12') has a queen-size bed, a walk-in closet, a reading chair, and a workstation. A portable queen-size airbed is also available for this room, if needed. A high chair and two car seats are available, if needed. The second and third bedrooms each have a 32" Smart TV with premium cable service, Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO/Crave, Premium Youtube, AcornTV, and AppleTV+.

The Dining Room includes seating for up to 6 adults and a workstation.

The Living Room includes a leather couch, 2 leather recliners, and a wooden rocking chair providing comfortable seating for 6 adults. Entertainment is provided by a 55-inch HD television with premium cable service, Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO/Crave, premium Youtube, AcornTV, AppleTV+, a Blu-Ray DVD player, and a library of DVDs. A three-sided see-through propane fireplace provides a warm, comforting, and cheerful glow on cool evenings. A large picture window looks over a large deck and landscaped grounds.

The kitchen contains modern appliances including a dishwasher, refrigerator, electric range and oven, microwave oven, automatic coffee maker and coffee press, and a full range of dishes, pots, pans, and cooking utensils.

The main bathroom includes sink/vanity, toilette, tub, and shower. A beautiful large and unique artisan-made stained glass panel hangs in the south-facing window and provides a jewel-bright accent on sunny days.

Some plants throughout the house provide a cozy and welcoming ambiance. Doris is a local watercolour artist whose paintings hang in some of the surrounding galleries, and some of her works are on display in the cottage. We're avid and eclectic readers, and many books and magazines are available for our guests. Two skylights (in the Living Room and Kitchen) provide additional natural lighting to supplement the already large windows in our home. Being on the coast, cooling breezes are common throughout the year and excessive heat and humidity are rare. On the occasional hot days in summer, ceiling fans in the Living Room, Kitchen, and all three bedrooms provide a cooling flow of air.

A clothes washer and dryer are available for use by our guests.
