What you will love about this home
Our mid-century apartment features a large living room that gets beautiful morning light, a dedicated workspace ideal for working from home, tons of bookshelves and art, and a dining area that seats four. The sunny and spacious kitchen is well equipped with a fridge, freezer, oven, air fryer, and microwave. The bedroom has a king-sized bed and plenty of built-in storage space.
The building also has shared laundry facilities that are free of charge. Private parking may be available upon request, or we are open to discuss car sharing. If you prefer to take public transit, we have several bus stops within a five minute walk, or the Los Angeles metro is about twenty minutes walking distance.
For the times you're not out and about, you are welcome to listen to our extensive vinyl record collection (we have everything from disco to country to hip hop to Chinese pop), mix yourself a cocktail from our bar cart, or take a read from anything on our bookshelves.

What you will love about this neighborhood
Our apartment sits on a quintessentially palm tree-lined street in the heart of Los Angeles. The Los Feliz neighborhood is extremely walkable (yes--walkable in LA!), and our apartment is just minutes from restaurants, cafes, bars, grocery stores, and two cozy movie theaters. Some of our favorite spots are the Alcove (an all-day cafe with outdoor seating), the House of Pies (a classic LA diner and pie shop), the Covell wine bar, Little Dom's Italian restaurant, and the Vista movie theater (owned by Quentin Tarantino)--all of which are just a quick walk from our doorstep. It’s the perfect blend of community connection and peaceful living.
Los Feliz is also one of the greenest neighborhoods in Los Angeles. Our apartment just a fifteen-minute walk away from Griffith Park and its famous observatory, hiking trails, and horse-riding paths. We're also a fifteen-minute walk from Barnsdall Art Park with its picnic field overlooking the Hollywood Sign and the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Hollyhock House.

Additional information
Please note the below before requesting an exchange:
(1) We charge a cleaning fee of $150 for all non-reciprocal exchanges. This fee goes directly to our housekeeper.
(2) We only have one proper bed (king size). We do have an air mattress that sleeps two, but filling it up requires rearranging some of the furniture. So, while it is possible to sleep up to four people, we generally prefer to host couples or individuals.
(3) We are unable to host pets of any kind (although we are open to taking care of your pets!).
(4) We are unable to host anybody who is not traveling with the accountholder on Home Exchange. For example, please don't ask for an exchange on behalf of someone else.
