What you will love about this home
We live in a three-story detached house, with the 1st and 2nd floors available for your use. The best part of the house is the large livingroom windows that open to the forest and the location next to the forest, which is rare in Helsinki. On our private terrace, which extends two sides of the house, you can enjoy the sun in the summer, grill, or take a dip in the hot tub. The hot tub is pleasantly warm even in cold winter time.
The house has four bedrooms, one of which on the 1st floor serves as an office and has a pull-out sofa bed. In addition to the office, the ground floor has a bright living room and kitchen combination with access to the terrace. There is also bathroom with a sauna with a door to the terrace. Upstairs, one bedroom has two 90 cm wide beds, another a 160 cm wide double bed, and the third a 140 cm wide double bed and a sofa bed.
There is space for two cars in the yard. We can change a car in reciprocal exchange.

What you will love about this neighborhood
We live in the coastal area of Laajasalo in Helsinki. The neighborhood is peaceful, with forests and lovely coastal nature. Nearby you can find wonderful nature trails and walking routes along the seashore with beaches. I'd be happy to advise you more on these.

Public transportation: There is a pier less than a kilometer away, from which you can take a ferry to the center of Helsinki. The journey takes 20 minutes and is an experience in itself. About 100 meters away, there is a bus stop with a bus that goes to the Herttoniemi metro station.
The nearest grocery store is one kilometer away and there is a kiosk and a few restaurants about 500 meters away.

Additional information
In summer, Helsinki is a wonderful seaside city, where there is something to do for many tastes. But there is also plenty to do in winter, from winter sports such as winter swimming and skiing to museums and culture. A day trip to Porvoo is an experience in itself, regardless of the season.
The Kruunuvuorenranta area is new and under construction, so there are construction sites here. The longest bridge in Finland is also being built here, which is to be opened for pedestrians and cyclists in 2026 and for trams in 2027, when the tram will take you to the center of Helsinki via Korkeasaari (zoo).
