What you will love about this home
Our home is a much loved, comfortable home, full of books and paintings. There's no air conditioning or smart TV but it's a 19th century Victorian terraced house, so it has good thick walls that keep it cool in summer and warm in winter. The back yard is overlooked by a huge gum tree that's often full of local parrots and other birdlife.
What you will love about this neighborhood
Our home is right in the centre of the City of Sydney, in Surry Hills, one of the world's coolest inner city areas. It's opposite the best pub in the world, there are 100s of cafes and restaurants nearby, and it's a short tram ride to the Opera House. You can also walk to Sydney Harbour in 20 minutes and get a bus to the world famous beaches in less than half an hour. There are lots of parks nearby, and also a football stadium and the Sydney Cricket Ground.
